Here it is.
Hotmail was my first ever email back in the late 90s. It was good. Simple, clean, easy to use. Until things started getting bad. I moved to yahoo.
Still keep my two accounts alive but don't use them anymore. Just back ups for when yahoo has hick ups.
Well.... today I read that yahoo got bought out by Verizon. OHHHH NOOOO. Verizon also bought out AOL. Know anyone still using that? Also it seems China will be in charge.. Alibaba came up. They are well known among artists for being thieves. Steal
one of a kind designs and make cheap knock offs. And since they are in China, US laws don't phase them. So yahoo will be some verizon owned spin off of that? Oh holy **** batman.
And at this point I stopped reading. Very depressing. But I know the writing is on the wall. I need to start thinking about a move.
Gmail is THE WORST. Absolutely ZERO support what so ever. And... gmail is the ONLY email I ever had that actually got hacked. I mean hacked to the point my account was lost completely. Yahoo has been hacked too, easy solution to that is just don't put
anything on there that is critical. Hack away. At least the worst they do to me is make me pick a password that looks like my cat danced on the keys.
So back to hotmail? Well..... I think NOT. First, just figuring out HOW to sign into HOTMAIL is a pain in the rear.
Is this now outlook? Microbrain? Live? What's wrong with just keeping HOTMAIL?
I went around in several circles before I finally got in. First my inbox appears, then suddenly poof. I'm on some big entry page, NO CLUE where my inbox went or how to get back. I'd have to start over, log in again.
Tried to delete some old messages, HOW? NO check boxes to be found.
Then suddenly everything froze. Seems you don't play nice with my older OS and older version of Safari. So fine.
Launch firefox (which I never use.) Log in again, circles again. Click on an email, SLOW as can be. Some yellow window shows up saying firefox is blocking pop ups. WHY clicking on an email involves a pop up who knows. SO I right clicked my email, opened
in a new window. That worked. Not to mention the note on the side about signing up for premium to remove the ads my adblock is doing a fine job of blocking for free. LISTEN!!!!! You want ME to look at commercials? YOU HAVE TO PAY ME! NOT the other
way around.
THEY WILL BE BLOCKED OR I LEAVE! Simple. Find another way to make money. My bandwidth is NOT at your disposal for profits.
Well even firefox now is having issues on your site. I can't run a single other application or everything freezes. This NEVER happens. I can run two browsers, a text editor, preview, photoshop, play my internet radio ALL at the same time. But land
on hotmail? I have to shut down everything else? WHAT is going on with your code here?
I was going to find, and bookmark what ever page actually is the log in for hotmail but know what?
NO! Too much is wrong with this. PLEASE just go back to the way Hotmail was in the beginning. Clean, EASY TO USE. Fast loading, simple. What I have now I can't even do the simplest thing.
So... just in case someone in development actually has a brain and fixes things here, I'll log in every six months or so just to keep them alive. AND I'll be looking for another alternative for email.
So now, which WRONG sub-topic do I pick for this? I'll just take the top one. It's wrong though. Forced to pick the wrong thing.
