After finishing the Windows 10 Creators update to version 1703; I cannot stop the screensaver. Using the mouse or the keyboard does not deactivate screensaver mode. Using Ctrl-Alt-Delete is the only way I can get system out of screensaver mode.

New hardware blue screen
I'm guessing this is just a bug with windows but recently I've been upgrading hardware in my pc such as hard drives ram and graphics card each and every time I've rebooted the pc with the new hardware it got a blue screen for booting with that new hardware
for the first time but every time after was fine. There was no error code besides your pc ran into some errors and has to restart. Anyone getting anything similar?

wants me to scan every time i startup my computer, every time.
can we not set the windows defender to automatically scan when the computer starts?
I have read every thing and found no information as to how to set it up to auto scan....
can someone please tell me what i can do, instead of waiting for computer to start and then when running, it tells me my computer has not been scanned in a while, yet i have to manually hit the scan button every time.

Acabo de actualizar windows 10 hoy mismo y cuando entro en mi outlook 2016 para casa y empresa puedo ver sin problema los correos pero al entrar en contactos o en calendario que los tengo sincronizados con icloud aparece este texto "No se puede abrir el conjunto de carpetas. No se pudo abrir el almacen de información.

Windows 10 is not showing USB devices. I have an Dell android. It use to show the android and I was able to
drag a ebook into it from my computer but now the computer is not showing an USB devices.

Tive um arquivo que não foi carregado no one drive, acabou bateria e não terminou de carregar, quando carreguei not, apareceu uma mensagem informando que não foi carregado, e precisa reparar o arquivo, tentei reparar mas não repara e o one drive parou de sincronizar meu pc com a nuvem.
Não atualiza mais, não repara.

Vive le progres, j'ai un PC qui a 15 ans, qui a aucune mise a jour et dont toutes les applications fonctionnent à merveille ! Haha..Je me fendrai bien la poire si mon souci ne concernait pas un outil professionnel pour lequel mon employeur est dans l'incapacite de m'aider et sur lequel je suis incité à bousiller ma vue!

Computer won't read Camera/USB cord
Hi, I have recently been having trouble with my Canon PowerShot SD 1300 IS digital camera on my Windows 10 computer. Last I remember being able to upload a picture from it to my computer was in November 2016. I also noticed when I start up my computer it says there is an error message that a certain app/device is unable to start.
I have also checked the device for computer updates, checked the Device Manager to see if it were installed properly ,etc. Nothing seems to be working and I am at a breaking point. I really want to be able to use this camera again and I don't know what to do. Any help with this issue would be most appreciated. If you need any further information, please let me know.

Windows 10 does not need EFI and MSR partition?
I am reinstalling Windows 10 (onto a GUID partition table drive) from a disc to test out which partitions are needed. My preference is for only one partition to be needed, to install via Veracrypt (this would make backup and recovery more simple). This can be achieved on an MBR drive if you were to just create a single primary partition on the drive before starting the Windows installation.
GUID partition table
If you were to leave the drive with unallocated space and no partitions, it creates 4 primary partitions:
1. 450MB EFI Recovery partition with the bootloader
2. 100MB system partition - only needed for Bitlocker. You can prevent this from being created an on MBR using instructions above.
3. 16MB MSR partition
4. Main data partition
From my research, 1 and 3 are NEEDED for a GUID partition table; without them, Windows 10 would not boot. However if, before you install Windows 10, you create two partitions:
1. 500MB partition
2. Main data partition
Windows installs normally and boots normally, without the need for the EFI and MSR partitions.
The interesting thing here is that in the first method, the 100MB partition contains the same files and folders as the 500MB partition in the second method. My guess is that they're exactly the same. Except for the fact that in the second method, Windows cannot be installed if that 500MB partition is 100MB, as it is in the first method. Therefore, I conclude that while the contents are the same, Windows is treating the two partitions differently and possibly is somehow hiding files in a hidden area of the partition, which I thought was not possible on GPT drives.
Why is this? What exactly is going on here?
