KB4016240 did not fix error with fullscreen apps and Directx3D.
my symptoms : Nvidia colors reset when running some games fullscreen .
these games also have DPI scaling checkbox enabled in properties of the .exe
not sure if related.
But i am sure the KB4016240 does not fix my Nvidia colors , they won't stay when leave pinball fx game for example.
it revert back to MS default sRGB color profile, and then i get a darker screen again.
i tried disable fastboot.
disable nightlamp , game mode and game bar .
i am not using any standby , running stable verified BIOS.
tried fresh windows , checked for latest system drivers.
nothing works to fix the annoying screen problem.
and the workaround is not a good fix , like running borderless window mode.
i start to really hate these updates that mess with my DirectX or screen.
i also tried uninstall the package and install from MS database the package.
no succes , KB does not fix my colors and Directx 3D .
kinda funny i bought this windows retail for the better Directx
but it has bad support for my GTX 780's the Creators update.
Anniversary was same story , some unknown Direcxt 3D issue.
never got it fixed.
