I am seeking a better understanding for using variation sites for multi-lingual pages.  We would like to take an existing page and make it the source for a variation hierarchy.  The issue I am running into is when I attempt to create a variation label, I am present "Variation Root must be a publishing site".  I was under the impression that as long as "SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure" was active on site collection settings this would be possible. 

I have done testing with new pages built off the publishing template successful, but I would like to convert an existing page collection to include variations in an alternate language.

I would like to create about 75 outlook.com email accounts for seasonal staff at my business. Their use of email is casual and will be accessed mainly through IMAP.

After reviewing the terms and conditions, it sounds like this is acceptable. However, I have heard that some people experienced limits on how many email accounts they can create per day or per IP address. Since I would like to create several per day and all will be created via my work IP address, I'm concerned I may be limited/blocked from setting up all the accounts.

Can someone advise if what I would like to do is acceptable and/or if I will run into any limits during the set up?

Hello.

I am working in an excel spreadsheet and I'd like to add the SUM function. I'll be adding the value of 1 column. There is an X in the cells in the column. The value of X is 1. How do I make a formula to maintain the X in the cell but have that X count for 1 and then add it up in the bottom of the column? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, 

We have the following problem:

Recently there was a service outage where several Active Directory groups were accidentally deleted in our AD Schema.

We're currently in the process of recovering these groups, but it has had the knock-on effect of knocking out access to certain sites until those groups are recreated.

If a group is deleted in AD and then recreated with the same name, is that then picked up by Sharepoint as before (by name) or does something slightly less preferable happen (where the GUID of the group object in AD is what Sharepoint refers to rather than just the name?)?

Any help is greatly appreciated,

In manchen Fällen startet Edge zunächst normal, schließt sich allerdings sofort wieder. Sobald Edge in diesem Zustand ist, gibt es keine Möglichkeit mehr, den Browser erfolgreich zu starten. Weder über die Taskleiste, noch aus dem Startmenü oder durch einen Link aus einer anderen App.

Hallo!

Ich habe seit kurzem das Problem, dass mein Laptop mit Windows 10 immer wieder, zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten, die Internetverbindung verliert, obwohl ein Netzwerk verfügbar  ist und auch andere Geräte mit diesem verbunden sind. Derzeit kann ich das Problem nur mit einem Neustartmotorrad beheben, was sehr nervig sein kann, wenn man eine wichtige Seite im Browser offen hat.

Bitte um schnelle Lösungsvorschläge!

Zdravím,

nastal problém na mém pc s Widows 10 po aktualizaci programu avast došlo k restartování systemu a následně k problému, systém naběhl naprosto běžně a po zadání hesla se oběvila tabulka stím že se windows nemuže přihlasit k mému učtu a že se mám zkusit odhlásit a znova přihlásit. Tohle jsem opakoval asi cca 10 krát ale bez vysledně. neví někdo co stím. Díky

I would like to calculate hours worked by an individual on a schedule, but without changing the schedule format. I can't figure out the right formula for it.

	Monday	Tuesday	Wed	Employee	Hours working
Post 1
Shift 1	Employee 1	Employee 2	Employee 2	Employee 1	24
Shift 2	Employee 2	Employee 1	Employee 3	Employee 2	24
Shift 3	Employee 3	Employee 3	Employee 1	Employee 3	24

So I want to be able to have the employee names on the right column, under employee and then have the right most column calculate the amount of times the employee's name shows up in the entire worksheet and then multiply that by 8.

For example, If I schedule employee 1, 5 times them the right most column should say  40

and if at all possible, if a name is on the schedule for more than 5 times (Overtime) then have it highlight All the times the name shows up.

And on top of that, have no formulas in the individual cells, besides the hours worked one

If anyone can help me with all that, I would be eternally grateful! Thank you!

Hi,

I have a fully updated windows 10 version. My file explorer almost always goes unresponsive when i try to rename a new folder and I have to restart through task manager to try renaming again, usually to no succes. Occassionally my task bar also goes unresponsive and i have to use alt+ctrl+del to get to my task manager to restart the windows explorer process.

It's been going on for several weeks if not months and I'm getting really tired of it. I cannot find errors in my services logs.

Any suggestions that are not:

run sfc

remove startup programs

use ccleaner

fixes intended for thumbnails or 4k monitors (not applicable)

If you need more information, let me know and how, and i'll provide it.

In sommige gevallen wilt Edge starten, maar vervolgens verdwijnt Edge onmiddellijk. Als dit eenmaal gebeurd, wilt Edge niet meer succesvol opstarten, of je het nu probeert via de taakbalk, het startmenu of een link van een andere app.

My Bluetooth was working before January 29, 2017  and I went to use it today February 7, 2017 and it is no longer in settings to turn on, my speaker won"t connect anymore.  I have updated all the drivers and still no Bluetooth, does not appear when I do a hardware troubleshooting, it is running under services ( I have started and stopped and set to auto and manual)

When in properties for Realtek Bluetooth 4.0 adapter this is the message:

Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.

but I cannot find anything which tells me how to reconnect it, and I did nothing to disconnect it, though there may have been a windows update but I am not sure.

Windows Defender m'indique qu'il a mis un fichier en quarantaine : 

Catégorie : Cheval de ****

Description : Ce programme est dangereux et il exécute des commandes émanant d’une personne malveillante.

Action recommandée : Supprimer immédiatement ce logiciel.

J'ai un doute sur l'emplacement indiqué, c'est la que le fichier était avant d'être mis en quarantaine ou c'est l'emplacement de la quarantaine ? J'aimerais bien savoir où était ce virus.

Bonjour,

Mon père est malheureusement décédé et j'ai eu beau faire des recherches sur internet pour savoir comment supprimer son compte Outlook et Skype et je n'ai rien trouvé. J'ai trouvé quelques sujets à ce propos et je crois qu'il y a une adresse courriel où je peux communiquer avec le service à la clientèle Microsoft, mais l'adresse a été effacer pour close de confidentialité.

Est-ce que quelqu'un peut m'aider soit à me communiquer l'adresse courriel du service à la clientèle de Microsoft ou m'indiquer ce que je dois faire pour procédé à la suppression définitive du compte Outlook et Skype de mon père ?

Avendo cambiato il telefono, ho problemi a sincronizzare il mio band con il nuovo telefono, infatti il Band risulta sincronizzato con il vecchio cela, perciò il nuovo non lo vede. Come posso sincronizzarlo?

I went to look in my folders and everything is gone. I don't understand Microsoft. I have an inbox, when important emails I want or care about are there I put them into a respective folder either for friends or one clearly marked as important and they have been purged. What is going on!!! I want my stuff back! Why would you do this without saying anything????!!!! Please help. Its not in deleted to recover, its not anywhere. Please give me back my stuff. Can't you send out a warning? Like 30 days your stuff will be purged? I get loads of Microsoft ads and update emails but you can't send out a simple cleanup or we will????? This is crazy, please give me back my stuff!!!
