Boy, I don't know where to start...however, I think my main problem is using Skype. I originally installed Skype a couple of years ago while in Mexico on my desk top. I have used that same account on my iPhone and my desk top in California.
Has Skype gone through some kind of over-haul lately? My existing account from my desktop is now failing my calls to Mexico, but I can call within the U.S. Anyway, I've now installed Microsoft 365 on two desk tops (and will add it to 3 more devices). The
Microsoft 365 offered 60 free minutes of Skype and I thought it said those free minutes can be added onto an existing Skype account. Well I've tried to sync and a message comes up and says "no more syncing". So I felt railroaded into creating a new Skype account.
I think I was even successful in getting the free Skype minutes activated on that newly created Skype account.
So, I sign in with the id I think it wants and then I was caught in the loop of wrong ids and passwords because I thought I had to use my Outlook id to get in, then they asked for my Microsoft user id to verify, that didn't work. So, on a whim I threw out
using my user id for my primary email account Yahoo... I got in then. I remember reading something about to change passwords or email addresses etc., I had to still use Outlook and not my primary email on Yahoo???
I'm totally confused with all these different user ids and passwords for Outlook, account live, Microsoft, Microsoft 365 and now a new Skype account. It's very difficult to read and read and read to try and find a resolution to problems signing in and if
I accomplish that after 3 or 4 attempts, I still can't pull up a phone keypad to make a call on Skype. Isn't there a real live person anymore that can walk me through the process from signing on to using Skype?
