How do you see your average resting heart rate, particularly in comparison day by day. I can only find it online in the comparison section, so it doesn't show any personal improvements or declines.

I installed Microsoft Security Essentials today and I am trying to change Startup programs. Every time I try to access Change Startup Settings from the Control Panel, a pop up tells me that I need to turn on Windows Defender and open it. However, the
Security Essentials won't allow Windows Defender to be turned on and I want to change the Startup settings. How can I accomplish this task?

OneDrive folder on Mac OS X Does not Open
Good evening all,
I'm at my wits end with this issue, and am hoping SOMEONE has an answer to what is going on...
I work for a small university on their Help Desk, and a couple of weeks ago, a staff member from our Marketing Department called stating OneDrive had "vanished" from her desktop. Another technician got the icon back, but now, whenever she goes in and tries to double-click on a specific folder to open it, all it does is drop into her Downloads folder as a downloaded item. When she double-clicks on it, it opens with page after page of unintelligable ascii characters and other non-sensical information.
If I try the same thing on my Mac, it works fine. I cannot figure out how to get the folder to open (instead of download). She did state that she goes through onedrive.com, instead of the specific path we use at the college.
Has anyone seen this before? Even just some preliminary information would be immensely helpful, as I cannot find anything related to it on Google, and don't know enough (yet) about OneDrive to even know where to begin in troubleshooting it.

Blocking and Allowing a Certain Program to a User in Windows 10
On windows 7 I was able to give a user access to a certain program in which I allowed them to use from a list of installed applications in my computer. Now I am having trouble finding that option , I created a account to use the family feature and from
there I was only able to block programs from a certain rating. Have they removed this feature in Windows 10 and if so for what purpose?

Windows 10 file searches slow
We just upgrades some PCs on our network to windows 10 and now running searches in file explorer on a a network drive that is hosted on a windows 2008 r2 server is now significantly slower then it was before. what used to take seconds now takes several minutes. has anyone else encountered similar issues?

DISC FORMATTING
I am trying to burn photos to a CD-RW disc. I have tried several times to format the disc, but each time when it is almost complete, a message comes up saying "Windows 10 cannot complete format" or something similar to that. I don't think I'm doing anything
wrong. I clicked on all the right things. I am very frustrated, as I have never had this problem before I upgraded to Windows 10.

How to reactivate Windows 10 derived from an MSDN Academic Alliance Win7 license
I ended up in an interesting licensing corner case thanks to an odd combination of circumstances: I had acquired Windows 7 Professional through the MSDN Academic Alliance programme (now known as DreamSpark), and had upgraded trouble-free to Windows 10, but was struggling to reactivate it after replacing a defective motherboard.
Entering my Win7 key in the Win10 activation tool reported that it couldn't be used with this edition of Windows 10 (despite having been automatically upgraded from Win7 Pro to Win10 Pro), and phoning Microsoft support confused the heck out of them, as they thought the key was for Win7 Enterprise Edition, presumably because MSDN-AA/DreamSpark keys are a weird halfway house between retail / Pro Edition licensing and wholesale / Enterprise Edition licensing. After much fruitless talk with various baffled support operatives, it was clear I'd need to figure this out by myself.
The root of the problem is, when upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10, the association with your original product key becomes quite weak. Rather the fact that Win7 attests your key is genuine is used to generate a Digital Entitlement for the particular hardware it's running on, and this must be re-done if the hardware breaks down. Typically it could be re-done by simply entering your Win7 key in the Win10 activation tool, but evidently the particular case of MSDN-AA editions is only patchily catered for, as the successfully generate an entitlement during upgrade but not on submitting the key to an already-installed Win10.
The "easy" solution is to reinstall Win7 from scratch, reinstall all your software, etc etc etc. Fortunately we can avoid that tedious route. Simply use Disk Management to shrink your existing C: partition, and create another by its side, of at least 50GB in size (fully updated win7 -> win10 is *big*). Then install Win7 in the new partition, leaving your original install untouched. Upgrade *that* Win7 to Win10 and the upgrade process will generate a new digital entitlement for your hardware. Then when you boot back to the original Win10 you'll find it picks up the entitlement and re-activates. Voila, you get to keep your existing install and avoid having to reinstall your software.
Hopefully eventually Microsoft will fix this such that any key that's good for generating an entitlement via upgrade is also good for generating one on an existing install; in the meantime I hope this can help Dreamspark/AA users avoid some tedious work.

Windows 10 Pro 64 bit - was working fine, now crashes on boot into Test Mode
Running a 64 bit Windows 10 Pro, booted fine until recent change.
Tried to boot into Test Mode in order to use unsigned drivers. System now freezes on booting, with display showing "Test Mode, Windows 10 Pro, Build 10586"
Keyboard and mouse are unresponsive, thus cannot launch, for example, Command Prompt.
On hard reboot, system re-freezes as described
Tried a variety of approaches to fix this including "Fix Startup Repair"; "Boot from previous image" etc. but nothing seems to work
Any suggestions?

Microsoft multiplication issue
Why does Excel generate a multiplication error when calculating from a previously calculated value? I have 2 different calculations on 2 separate spreadsheets and I'm getting two different values. On the first spreadsheet, I am multiplying 2 numbers
that are entered directly: 64*$34.65 = $2217.6 on the second spreadsheet I'm multiplying one entered number by a second calculated number: 64*($62,362/1800) = $2217.31; a $0.28 difference. Granted, the calculated number in the second spreadsheet turns out
to be $34.6455556 but rounding should yield $34.65.

Problemas no Windows Update
Prezados, recebi uma notificação do Windows, ao ligar meu note Samsung RV411, que está rodando o Windows 10, dizendo que um programa do Windows não tinha conseguido atualizar. Além disso, o wi fi não estava funcionando(sendo que no tablet funcionava perfeitamente).
Depois de uns minutos travados, consegui desligar e religá-lo. Só que ao entrar na parte de Configurações (Atualização e Segurança), simplesmente não há nada na página. Sumiu tudo. E além disso, está tudo travado.
O que faço? Como posso retornar as atualizações automáticas no meu Windows Update?

Resume from sleep crash
Hi
I'm running Windows 10 on a PC made from 2008 with a Gigabyte GIGABYTE EP43-S3L motherboard, and a new Nvidia 960 video card.
My PC crashes sometimes when attempting to resume from sleep and just wondered if anyone could please help me find the cause of the problem? I have uploaded the dump file to OneDrive for you to see here:

Excel "If" forumla
Not sure if this is possible. however I was asked this question in an email.
"trying to figure out how to add a bottom line and delete a top line on a daily basis. When using the "If" formula, do you have a recommendation on how to continue using your "If" formula and utilize this daily adding and dropping of the rows? "
does anyone know if this is possible? I am not sure if the user is using Office 2010 or Office 2013...
