Windows ten and office 365
Now I am spending more time trying to fix problems instead of using the equipment and products I paid for. Folders totally messed up by one drive issues I downloaded 365 on my desktop and my laptop and I am out of storage because after following all the
instructions I have no storage and 289 files wont sink. I have emailed the one drive team twice still no answers!
My Maxtor external drive does not function on windows ten and I followed all the instructions I got off the community page on this issue?
I was able to do stress free work in XP like a pro! Now I spend hours on end trying to get my new desktop, windows ten, one drive, my external Maxtor drive, printer all to work at the same time on the same day. Oh yea and windows 2016 outlook wont install
either!
This reminds me of a debate I followed with an MIT professor arguing that technology was now at the point, and this was 2009, now at the point that it is no longer usable by most users. I am now convinced he was right. I have an MBA from a highly ranked
school, and I will be honest, I do not want to learn all this new technology processes to use it, it just clutters my brain, and does allow me to focus on the things I need to accomplish. Plug and play is gone! When you lose the ease of use to complete processes,
then the technology loses it value as a tool.
Microsoft personnel were not able to fix my computer printer issue after giving them control and three hours of my time. After watching them navigate the system, after which they reloaded windows Ten and it still did not work I mimicked some of their navigation
and solved the printer issue in ten minutes. Very disappointing. Now I am waiting on the One drive support team to resolve the one drive issue so I can figure out how to make my files orderly so I can use them. How many more days? and how much more money before
I can use what I paid for?
If this is progress I most have missed something!
