I purchased a new PC OS = Windows 10, and Office 16 Home & Student which does include Outlook 16 preinstalled but requires activation. Mistakenly I tried to ‘activate’ but received the message ‘that it is not a product that can be activated’.
I have a Microsoft Outlook10 Licence which I installed on this new PC.
I use iCloud to manage my and my wife’s calendar, contacts..
I have, therefore, two versions of Outlook which can sit side by side but of course Outlook 16 does not have all its functionality.
I make extensive use of Word and Excel. After installing iCloud I want to manage Calendar/contacts in the same way as before, however, iCloud will not allow this – it observes there are two versions of Outlook and I must remove one of
them.
The question is can I remove Outlook 16 and not affect the other applications Word, Excel PowerPoint and OneNote within Office Home & Student 16?
