Hi Experts,

One of our customer raised the below questions:

They want to switch from Skype for Business Server on-premises to Office 365 Skype for Business Online. They cannot configure hybrid due to security constraints. They don't need to retain any data, such as history or user contacts. They are happy to proceed with a big-bang approach. They intend to remove all users from Skype for Business Server and then switch DNS records to point users to Skype for Business Online.

They have a number of questions:

1. Do they need to remove/deactivate users from Skype for Business Server before pointing them to Skype for Business Online? UPN and SIP is identical between users in Skype for Business Server on-premises and Skype for Business Online.

2. Can they just replace the internal and external Skype for Business Server DNS records with the Skype for Business  Online DNS records and expect users to automatically connect? Again, no data needs to be retained. ADFS and SSO is configured and all devices are domain-joined -

3. Some users have a number of existing meetings, both recurring and non-recurring. What will happen to these after the switch? Do they need recreating?

4. could you please confirm the behavior of external communications in Skype for Business Online. If external communications is enabled at the organization level, does this override per-user settings (In user settings if we disable it, will it allow that user to do external communication)? The customer needs a definitive answer but we can't find any documentation to confirm expected behavior, and testing is slow due to latency after changing settings.

On outlook.com, I have several folders that I can access on my Samsung galaxy s4.  All I have to do is the tap on Show all folders.

ON my galaxy s7, however, I have tried using the outlook app, and the folders just aren't visible.  How can I access all my outlook.com folders through the outlook app?

 Сегодня  случилось - не могу войти ни в свой ноутбук, ни в Windows ни тем более в сеть , Система пишет Служба клиент групповой политики препятствует входу в систему , Я чайник в этих тонкостей - но работать надо сейчас! Других устройств и других возможностей  выхода в сеть нет- и средств на покупку и оплату чего- то там - тоже, До этого сносно пользовалась программным обеспечением. купленным вместе с ноутом -версия 7 . Подскажите . что случилось - такое чувство. что куда -то- делось за нерабочую ночь все программное обеспечение.

Version is Outlook for Mac 15.4.  I used to have icons in the Home toolbar, but they went away and I cant find a toggle to get them back. The printed labels aren't convenient

 I have a MacBookPro and I am taking a class I need for work called GO! All In One Computer Concepts and Applications. My teacher said I can use my Mac and I downloaded the Office 365 Personal for Mac (Auto Renew) (Monthly) on my Mac computer. I now have the Microsoft OneNote, Word, and Excel in my Mac Dock. I need to understand how I using these. Are they desktop apps that are installed on my hard drive and my MacOS is how they are working. or are they able to run from or through the internet browser and I call them apps?

Received MSE Popup wanting me to send unclassified or suspicious files to have them checked. Not to sure of the exact language but it looked legitimate. I did not click on anything because HOW am I to know if it is really from Microsoft or if it is a Fake Malware Popup now a days.

Здравствуйте! У меня при открытии браузера интернет эксплоуэр пустая страница. Это случилось после того, как я удалила скачанные вирусные программы. С ними удалились видимо компоненты  браузера. Как мне поступить, что бы вернуть интернет эксплоуэр в надлежащий вид? Спасибо?

Hi,

I am part of an Association and unfortunately the previous Administrator passed away.  She set up her email with msn and I now need to access the account to see any information that could have been left there.  It is a "FREE" account.  How can I do this....if at all possible.  I don't have the password into the account.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.  I have never had to do this before.  I guess I have learned something from this....keep a running account of passwords and emails...just in case something happens.  Thanks a Bunch

Учетная запись Microsoft/Люди/Управление/Экспорт контактов. Нажимаю Экспорт (рис1), выбивает это (рис2). Почему? Как сделать экспорт? Спасибо.

Bom dia estou tentando ligar meu computador e entrar no meu login, mas o mesmo da um erro e de tanto reinicializar ele começou a entrar em modo de segurança.Depois de apertar o F8 como indicado ele passou a inicializar diretamente no login do administrador sem eu selecionar isso.Resumindo eu preciso dos meus arquivos que só consigo acesso no meu login.O qu eu faço?.Alguém pode me ajudar?

Can i use two different OEM (Both windows 10 pro) serials on the same hotmail account Or do i need to use another account mail (New PC).

My "Other" category has 560KB total, and "no files or folders to show." In Storage> This Device>Documents>OneNoteFiles>Local: There is something called Roaming with 448KB. Can this be deleted? There is almost no storage left on this phone, and this seems to be taking the bulk of it. My phone is refusing updates and apps are malfunctioning, and often my home WiFi stops working part of the day, and so does the internet connection. What can I do to fix these problems, and if clearing storage is the answer, is it safe to delete the big Roaming thing above? Thank you in advance; this MS Lumia 640 is only a few months old, but has had these problems from the start. Also wondering: If I delete pictures taken on the phone, will the same picture files stored in OneDrive also delete? It always warns that all existing, or multiple copies of the pictures will also delete, and I want to save content in OneDrive, then delete just the content left on the device.

Ho un pc assemblato cosi composto:

i5 3570

asrock h77 pro4 mvp
16gb ram corsair
asus 760 direct cuII
ssd 250gb samsung 830

Volevo pulire il disco lasciando l'ultima versione di windows 10 quindi ho fatto:

Sono andato in start > impostazioni > aggiornamento e sicurezza > ripristino

ho selezionato rimuovo tutto e poi ho selezionato rimuovi tutto senza pulire l'unità.

Il pc si e riavviato ha caricato fino al 100% in circa 10 minuti dopo di che è andato su una schermata nera con i pallini classici di caricamento di windows 10 il problema è che sta così da circa 2 ore 

E normale? devo solo aspettare? ho letto di chi gli si bloccava durante il caricamento o di chi ha finestra nera con il puntatore del mouse ma non trovo post riguardante schermata nera con caricamento

Ich habe vor eineger Zeit schon mit Hilfe des kostenlosen Upgrades von Windows 7 auf Windows 10 gewechselt. Nun musste ich eine neue Festplatte kaufen, auf der ich Windows 10 jetzt auch neu unstallieren möchte.

Ist das mit der kostenlosen Upgrade-Version möglich, oder gilt eine neue Festplatte als neues Gerät?

I attempted to fully reset windows 10 on my pc, however after multiple attempts it stopped around 50 percent saying "there was a problem resetting your pc". After trying again I attempted to reboot the computer in safe mode, now the pc is stuck in a cycle where the opening Inspiron screen is shown loading but after it completes loading the monitor says "signal lost" and cuts black before going to the loading screen again and continuing the cycle. I turned the pc on and off with the power button on the tower and it did not help. What can I do to fix this?

Just purchased a Surface Pro 3. Have now spent weeks trying to get it connected to the Internet.

It will connect to my Network but refuse to acknowledge the Internet, despite other devices working with the Internet. This will happen after a minute of me having the device on; before this the Internet works fine.

When I run diagnostics it gives me random reasons; network adapter, the router, DNS issues, seemingly random nonsense. Then sometimes it'll fix itself once I start running diagnostics and not explain why the Internets working again.

Found solutions online which don't seem to work, installed drivers, disabled settings, enabled other settings. This is driving me mad, someone please help before I sell this thing!
