Hello,
I'm having some screen flickering issue with my laptop... If I let windows update the Intel drivers to Intel Graphics Panel v20 then the flickering starts! If I disable automatic "drivers updates" through gpedit, it seems ok for a while, until it install
2017/06 updates which still causes flickering again! (even if using stock Intel drivers).
The flickering is bad and the screen goes black after like 10 seconds, but if I boot the stock OS (I have it in a caddy instead of a drive), EVERYTHING WORKS JUST FINE. I can even play games like nothing happens.
If I use an external monitor and disable the laptop screen, then re-enable it with "Extend screen" the laptop screen works fine again. It's during boot time that windows is doing something, the screen starts flickering, and then the screen seems to turn
off.
Note: If I use windows booting system (In the main drive) to boot to another windows install instead of BIOS UEFI selector, then I'll have the flickering on the other Windows!, even if the other windows partition isn't updated. It will require the external
monitor trick to get it back.
Laptop: Laptop MSI GE62 2QD PRO
Any help?
