My C drive is out of space due to 35.6 GB (out of 39.9 GB) being taken up in the Windows directory. Within that the winsxs is taking up 23.2 GB. When I run the cleanmgr as administrator it finds just over 9 GB of windows update files that can be cleaned up. However, when I choose to delete those files they are not actually deleted. It just keeps finding the same files over and over even after multiple reboots. I ran the disc cleanup when I have just over 600 MB available, although I am loosing space quickly. I realize I cannot just delete the whole winsxs directory. But how can I tell which files are safe to delete, which ones would disc cleanup be deleting if it actually worked?

I have an old computer, it's a Toshiba and it has Windows 7 (like I said, old). Sometime ago the CD/DVD player stopped working so recently, I bought an external player that plays CD's and DVD's. Problem is it won't work with any of the media players (Windows media player, Toshiba DVD player) on my computer. If I buy an upgrade with Real Player, I might get it to work, but I don't want to. So I am not sure what to do now. I am not a technical person, so a lot of babble tends to go over my head, but if anyone has any advice on how i can get this thing to work, I would really appreciate it. I can't afford a new computer right now, so I want to make this work if I can. HELP!

He comprado una segunda laptop para jugar por LAN con mis amigos que vengan a casa. Entre los juegos que uso estan Ages of Empires III, Ages of Empires II, Star Wars Battlefront II, Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption.

En todos los juegos no he podido jugar con la otra pc. Me he asegurado de usar diferentes cables en coneccion directa y he probado conectando a un router y usando Hamachi. Pero el resultado es siempre el mismo.

La PC 1 y la PC 2 se detectan entre si, porque la PC2 encuentra la PC1 cuando creo una sesion en el Ages III, pero cuando trato de unirme me dice que ha habido un error al unirse. Ahora cuando al revez creo una sesion con la PC 2, la PC 1 no la muestra en el punto de encuentro (Intente unirme por IP y tambien me arroja el error de que no es posible unirse).

Haciendo una prueba de Ping, la PC 2 si muestra un ping de conectividad con la PC 1, pero la PC 1 agota el tiempo de espera y no arroja ningun ping.

En resumen es como si las computadoras si estan bien conectadas por la red (Porque la PC 2 si detecta la 1), pero algo en la PC 1 no permite que se pueda jugar con la PC 2.

Podrian decirme como resolver el problema?

Hi, I've been having an issue since June 20th with some contacts showing as offline and not being able to receive my messages even when they confirmed they are online. They say I'm showing as busy even though I'm not. I can still see messages they send me and calling also still works. I've also tried removing and re-adding them as contacts but that hasn't worked. For others it still works fine just some are having this particular issue.

Skype for Windows10を使っていますが、最新版にしてから相手からのSkypeのコールを着信できなくなりました。

相手からのコール中はこちらのSkypeは全く反応せず（相手へのコールボタンが比活性のため、相手がコール中ということは分かります）、相手がコールをやめた後に、不在着信と表示されます。

こちらから、かけてきた相手へのコールは通常にできます。

Hello community  

could anyone please help me 

i've bought one drive 1 TB and i need to upload 120 of my data to one drive 

1. first i tried by upload through browser but it did not help as it too one night to upload only folder tree 

2. Second way i tried to copy files to one drive folder locally which is on my c drive but my c drive has only 10 gb free space o i cannot copy my 120 data to c drive

3. third way i tried mirror link but its also not helping

please help, if anyone know how fix it

   after hard reset my lumia 520 with windows phone 8.1 update 1 and Lumia Dennim, i restore my data from my account. but when i tried to install "touch" app manually, it shows error message that "this app is not available for your device"

我用的是mac word 2011, 之前用修订功能是正常的，不知从什么时候起，每次一进入修订模式，word就自动退出了，没法进行正常编辑。如何修复？mac经常会自动更新，会不会更新有问题。

Vuelvo a hacer la misma pregunta ya que la persona que me respondió evadió totalmente los detalles y usó una respuesta genérica que no me sirve:
Quiero restablecer windows 10 a la versión inicial osea borrando todas las configuraciones y programas pero mi duda es ¿va a eliminar mis archivos que tengo en otras particiones(tengo dos discos duros y el primero tiene 3 particiones/volúmenes y windows está instalado en la partición "C" del primer disco)?

How to disable auto sign in for Hotmail.  I do not any area to change "keep me signed in" to disable the feature.  Even though I physically sign out every time it always auto signs in when I return.

I replace a new hard disk recently and so I need to recover back my microsoft office. Now the problem is i had forgotten my product key and it still can sign in using email, but end up it said my email doesn't associate with the account. I remember I signed up using that email. Is there another solution to solve? Please help me, thanks a lot.

Laptop bought with windows 8 installed - opted for the free upgrade to windows 10 on this laptop. Have no idea what triggered this situation as I had made no major changes. Can I get the digital licence from Microsoft onto via my account using another computer (like the one I am using now!). I think the licence (in lieu of a product key) is needed for me to save the necessary tool onto a usb stick in order to get my computer activated.

Apparently I would have had to done some kind of system back-up but that is not so evident if you are unfamiliar with such things.

So I am still not clear the steps needed. I know if I press F12 when powering up I am out of the blue screen but still need the repair tool.

Please oh please someone help me through this!

When I try to install updates it says "checking for updates" and it just takes way to long its stuck on checking for updates. Can anybody give me tips to help me? I got a windows 7 starter 32 bit and i been trying for days to get this computer updated. Its an HP mini laptop.
