Hotspot will freeze Settings window and not open
The option "Mobile Hotspot" stopped responding.
When I attempt to select it it freezes the whole Settings window until I close and re-open it.I'vee tried switching Wifi on before selecting the Hotspot. I'm connected via Ethernet and I have internet.
I have recently(3 weeks ago) used my wifi which always worked fine. This has been occurring since the past 2 weeks(that I know of) and the hotspot worked too.
My computer is up to date "Version 10.0.14393 build 14393". My last windows update was "Windows 10 Version 1607 for systems x64 (KB3213986)"
I have attempted disabling and re-enabling wifi card. I have run diagnostics and it says that theres some problem with the wifi card or access point.

My Computer is Not compatible with Windows 10
I have been fighting with WINDOWS 10 issues since I went ahead and downloaded it in Oct. 2016. (slow, then freezing, then crashing, blue screens...) I have reset it several times and done clean installs several times. It always works for a few days and then goes back to the above mentioned. I have spent hours on the phone with Microsoft. But, I always feel like they don't want to deal with the WHY - they just want me to reinstall. So after the latest incident, I went to Acer's website to check some things. (I know...I should have done this way back before I allowed the download.) So, it says that my system is NOT compatible with W10. SOOO, what does that mean?? Am I doomed?
Do I throw it out of the window? Is there a way around incompatibility issues? I don't know where to go from here. Please help!

Aggiornamento immotivato dei files .eml in Win10
Salve a tutti,
ho letto con interesse il thread di Hidetoshi Tetsuya del 2012-2013 sull'aggiornamento automatico della data dei files di posta .eml sull'HD dei PC Win 7-8 (e aggiungo ora anche 10), thread chiuso nel giungo 2016 da Leuzzi, apparentemente senza risposta (dopo circa 25 palleggi). Avendo lo stesso problema su mio PC Win 10, posso aggiungere alcuni particolari che spero utili, e che auspico permettano di trovare una soluzione.
Il sincronizzatore che uso io è diverso (Treecomp.exe) da quello che usava Tetsuya, quindi penso vada scagionato l'applicativo. E' diverso anche il client di posta che uso, che non è né Windows Live Mail, né Outlook, ma Thundebird, che ho sempre pensato fosse la causa dei miei problemi, invece chissà...
Inoltre poco fa ho scoperto che i file aggiornati, lanciando Treecomp, risultavano essere quelli sulla chiavetta USB che uso come backup, mentre quelli su C: avevano la data e ora dell'ultima accensione del PC, due giorni fa. Ancora più straordinario è che la chiavetta l'avevo inserita nel PC un minuto prima della data assunta dai files .eml in questione, una cinquantina in vari folders.
Idee / hints???

Hello. Help please. For a few months, I have been getting junk mail that is somehow coming to me
from my own email address. I block and delete email from people I don't know and flag it as junk or spam.
However, I cannot block email that comes to me from myself. Why is this happening. How can I stop my email from being hijacked by spammers and scammers? Thanks in advance for your help.

Connect Yammer to O365 Groups?
I can't seem to connect Yammer to O365 Groups/Sharepoint properly. Everything seems to be set properly but we can't get the O365 Resources on the right bar to show up, none of our O365 Groups are auto-provisioning Yammer, etc.

Windows 10 Mobile; Crashes; Repair Team
Hello Microsoft,
I am an avid Cellphone collector. Many of my phones are Android, 3 are Microsoft. 2x Nokia 1520's (amazing units) and one Nokia 520 (very nice phone, replaceable rear covers in various colors). I really love the Windows phones. One 1520, I returned to Windows 8 mobile because of the crashes. My flagship, the red Nokia 1520, I have Windows 10 on. Sadly it crashes continuously with some programs. Microsoft Solitaire never gets to the play screen. It tries to start up X-Box (for some reason, that is important), and tries to go to a sign in screen, but its hidden behind another startup screen. Then it appears to go to the game, but diverts and starts up the gaming store to let you know and show you that you can buy a payware version of this game, but that crashes and blocks the other screens. So you have several things booting up, blocking each other, then wooosh, you are back to the main start screen. I have tried it many times in a row, and it gets quicker because some things are loaded in memory, but it just doesnt get there. I ended up deleting it and getting a privateer version of the game on the store.
A couple of other programs crash also.
Windows 8 seems to run very nicely.
I wonder.. Being that its been out for so long, and problems persist, and the possibilities that the os has, is it possible to hire on a firm or company to repair this os to make it what it can be? Its an amazing os. It just seems that the team cannot
get it repaired. The bugs seem to increase instead of going away. It should work as good as Apple os. Its the future, 2017, and MS has been making good os' for many many years. A mobile os is a 'simple' liteweight version of an os. It should be running
amazingly. But sadly, its not.
I ask you, I implore you, to not abandon this great os, but to see it through into being a golden child, like Windows 7 for Desktops. Make Windows 10 (or its next version) an amazing, great, powerful, fast, solid, bug-free os..... Think of it.... Just think
about how cool it would be if it was running awesome... All the good reports coming in, phone firms requesting to use it on their flagships, no more pausing, coughing, crashing... Just a fast running Lamborghini of a os.....

Inline afbeelding handtekening
In een poging om mijn logo toe te voegen aan mijn handtekening (Outlook live mail) heb ik onder Indeling bij E-mailhandtekening het logo binnengehaald met de knop Inline afbeeldingen invoegen. Het logo viel zo enorm groot uit dat ik het vervangen heb (dat dacht ik!) door een kleiner logo. Ook deze bleek nog monsterlijk groot uit te vallen. Daarbij komt dat nu beide logo's verzonden worden met mijn handtekening. De één vervangt dus niet automatisch de ander. Ook is het mij volslagen onduidelijk hoe ik één of beide logo's weer kan verwijderen. Hier lijkt eenvoudig geen knop of optie voor te zijn bij de live mail.

Outlook.com: Geburtsdatum eines Kontaktes löschen?
Hallo,
wenn ich versehentlich bei einem Kontakt in Outlook.com ein Geburtsdatums-Feld eingefügt habe, dann wird ja automatisch auch ein Kalendereintrag im Geburtstagskalender erzeugt.
Wenn ich aber jetzt merke, daß dieses Datum gar nicht zu diesem Kontakt gehört - wie kann ich das Datum wieder löschen?
Ich habe das Datum in dem Kontakt in Outlook 2016 entfernt.
Ich habe das Datum des Kontaks im WindowsPhone entfernt.
Ich habe den Eintrag im Geburtstagskalender gelöscht.
Aber das Datum im Kontakt unter Outlook.com bleibt...!?
Dieses kann ich nur ändern, aber nicht löschen.
Wie kann ich das Geburtsdatum löschen?

Noch etwas zum Datum: Wenn ich will, daß ein im Kontakt eingetragener Geburtstag auch im Geburtstagskalender übernommen wird - muss ich dieses Datum dann im Browser unter outlook.com eintragen? Ich habe nämlich versucht, ein Geburtsdatum am WindowsPhone zu erfassen - aber ein automatischer Eintrag in den Geburtstagskalender erfolgte so nicht. Wie kann ich erreichen, daß ein Eintrag des Geburtstags in den Kontaktdaten entweder in outlook oder im WindowsPhone auch im Kalender landet?
Und auch gleich noch eine Frage zum Geburtstagskalender: Wenn ich in outlook.com einen neuen Geburtstag erstellen möchte, dann finde ich unter Hinzufügen eines Geburtstags oder Feiertagskalenders in Outlook.com folgendes:

Buonasera,
un mio cliente ha un problema insolito con Windows Live Mail 2012 su tutti e tre i computer sul quale è installato.
Quando gli arrivano mail da due mittenti, questi arrivano senza gli allegati, mentre se controlla la posta con la webmail gli allegati ci sono. Non è il problema di protezione del programma che blocca tutti gli allegati e non li fa aprire.
In questo caso gli allegati arrivano da tutti i mittenti tranne che da due in particolare con i quali arrivano solo i messaggi ma senza allegati.
Cosa potrebbe essere?

Papierkorb bei OneNote Online kann nicht geleert werden

in meinem OneNote-Online ist der Papierkorb mit einem Abschnitt gefüllt. Der Papierkorb läßt sich nicht leeren. Leere ich den Papierkorb über die OneNote-Anwendung, wird der Papierkorb sofort wieder mit dem Abschnitt aus OneNote-Online nachgeladen. Dies geschieht auf sämtlichen Rechnern, unabhängig von Windows- oder OneNote-Version.
Wie kann ich den Papierkorb dauerhaft leeren ?

Почему я больше никогда не куплю смартфон на Windows
Начать я бы хотел с того, что я IT специалист. И когда мне попался обзор одного из Lumia смартфонов, меня это заинтересовало. Так 2 года назад, я стал счастливым обладателем смартфона NOKIA Lumia 1320. Меня в нём устраивало всё. И дизайн и качество сборки,
большой и довольно хороший дисплей, батарея большой ёмкости, к Windows Phone были конечно претензии, но с Cyan обновлением дела пошли получше. Я никогда не вникал, что и как реализовано, всё работало ну и ладно.
Но потом началось веселье, вместо 30 гб в облаке осталось 5, потом оказалось, что мой смартфон не обновить до мобильной десятки (вроде как из за слабого процессора), хотя бюджетные 430 и 550 намного слабее и для них это не проблема. Постепенно разработчики
начали закрывать поддержку своих приложений, многие приложения просто исчезли из магазина, приложения, за которые я заплатил. Деньги мне конечно же не вернуть и это ещё раз показывает отношение к пользователю. Microsoft вместо того, чтобы довести до ума приложения
на своей платформе, начала делать их на платформах конкурентов и далеко не секрет, что там они намного лучше.
Но что бы там не говорили, привык я к Windows на своём смартфоне. И всё бы хорошо, если бы не одно но. Потребовалось прошить мой смартфон. Скачал значит я Windows Device Recovery Tool, установил, подключил смартфон и запустил обновление прошивки.
Процесс должен был занять минут 20, не больше, так я тогда думал, но что то пошло не по плану. После перезагрузки, вместо приветствия, появилась надпись «error: unable to find a bootable option» и смартфон не включался. Я попробовал повторно установить прошивку,
но после обновления, та же строка появилась снова. Это не сулило ничего хорошего.
На следующий день пришлось топать в ближайший сервис центр в надежде, что оживить мой смартфон займёт не много времени и денег. Ещё никогда я так не ошибался. Как оказалось, оживить смартфон уже невозможно, нужно менять материнскую плату полностью и стоит это
дороже, чем я когда то заплатил за сам смартфон.
И вот теперь сижу я и задаюсь вопросом, стоит ли покупать новый смартфон на Windows, нет, не стоит, однозначно нет!
Во первых с нормальным ценником сейчас это только Lumia 650 но,...
1) вместо хардверной панели сейчас везде панель, которая занимает часть дисплея, заезжает выезжает, как можно было отказаться от хардверной панели в пользу этого убожества?
2) дизайн да неплохой, но производительность на уровне моего умершего 1320, 2 года прошло, алё...
3) слабая батарея, для меня это огроменный минус.
3) не снимает видео в 1080р, только 720р, подозреваю, что из за слабого процессора, мой 1320 это делал и неплохо справлялся.
4) постоянно лагающие, падающие приложения, их и так мало, ещё и пропадают из магазина, даже те, за которые я заплатил. Верните мои деньги, за что я заплатил вообще?
5) Если понадобиться прошить смартфон, огромная вероятность получить неработающий смартфон, который уже не починить. Как такое вообще возможно, я не пойму. Как сказали в сервисе, это ошибка какого то сертификата, и ведь интересен тот факт, что он успешно прошивается,
но не загружается из за криворукости или может неграмотности тех, кто так бестолково это реализовал.
И самое главное, когда то я купил смартфон во первых из за того, что мобильный Microsoft Office был только на Windows, а самое главное, из за уважения к компании NOKIA, которая делала на самом деле качественные вещи. Теперь я не вижу смысла покупать смартфон
на Windows. Когда то эксклюзивные приложения, сегодня есть на всех платформах. Постоянное кидалово и наплевательское отношение к пользователям со стороны Microsoft. Буду копить деньги на iPhone. Спасибо компании NOKIA за мой Lumia 1320 но на этом всё. Моя
история с мобильной виндой на этом окончена. О чём можно говорить, когда даже сотрудники Microsoft все с iPhone ходят, как бы намекая, что стоит покупать. Спасибо. Я понял намёк. Так и сделаю.
