Sharepoint Sites, Groups, One Drive folders
Using Office 365 business, if my goal is to have a set of files that several people in my organization have access to, can add to, and edit, and then allow external users to view them (but not edit), what is the best way to do it? To create a sharepoint site, a onedrive folder, or a group? I am unclear about the differences in functionality between the three.

Viewing Linkedin Contacts on Outlook.com
On the Outlook.com website, there is an option under manage to connect to social networks. I have connected to Linkedin and have both checkboxes ticked for see Linkedin contacts and Share to Linkedin.
I received an email asking to upgrade my account which I did. I then received an email stating I'm connected to linked and my contact list is now always up to date. There is a radio button saying see your contacts in the email which I clicked. This then opens up outlook.com people and brings me to my contacts and 'other contacts' which I have expanded.
I can't find my LinkedIN contacts still. Could you help me resolve this?

New E-mails No Loading
I am working in Windows 8 on Office 2013. For several days earlier last week, I was not receiving any e-mails on Outlook and had to rely on my cell phone. I tried clicking on Send/Receive and also shut down Outlook and rebooted my laptop. That is when I went to the community. The response I rec'd to process a test msg went to my cell but not to Outlook. While waiting for another suggestion, I tried clicking on Work Offline and clicking again and it worked! Thought it was just a glitch.
Once again this morning I am not receiving msgs. I tried all the tricks noted above to no avail. Again the test msg was rec'd by my cell but no Outlook. Any suggestions as to what could be going on? Thank you!

emails won't show up in outlook 2016

How to select an "outlook" category from a menu that only has "personal" categories?

What changed with the Creators Update that's preventing Borlands Database Desktop from running?
Since the Creators Update, I cant start Borlands "Database Desktop". If you watch the task bar you can see a quick flicker but nothing else happens. I ran through the Compatibility Troubleshooter trying every possible combination of settings with no success.
Safe mode didn't work either. I realize that this is an old program, but I still need to support literally thousands of customers still using Paradox. I tried using Dependency Walker and Process Monitor but they are a little too advanced for me to fully understand.
Does anyone know what changed that's preventing the "Database Desktop" (dbd32.exe) from running. Or what else I can try to get it running again. Thanks.

Picture coloring problem
Hello,
I have a issue regarding coloring of inserted .png pictures which are used as icons in my letterhead document. I created them in Illustrator (standard 3: email, phone, location) and exported as .png & inserted into my Word file.
Problem is when I want to change color I cant get the same one as the rest of the document graphics which I created using simple shapes (for header and footer) . It's always darker or brighter version, even when editing corrections it's impossible to get the same. But it's important for me that every part of the document be available for easy editing & color changing. I've tried couple of ways by converting from pdf to docx but conversion is not that good, edges are all messed up.
I know that shapes are easy for color changing & always presented in full color version, so I was wondering is it possible to import custom shapes to Word? Or somehow to convert my .png icons to shape so that I can get propper color matching since leaving it as picture file isn't working.
I am using Office 2016.

Emailing from Office365 to Hotmail.co.uk email addresses - 550 5.7.64 TenantAttribution; Relay Access Denied
One of my colleagues is sending emails which all work fine apart when sending to Hotmail.co.uk email addresses. When she sends an email to a Hotmail.co.uk address she get a bounce back NDR with an error message of 550 5.7.64 TenantAttribution; Relay Access Denied.
I have contacted Office 365 support for assistance and they looked at the NDR report and say that its a Hotmail issue rather than an Office 365 issue.
Emails to all other domains are working fine.
Any help you can provide would be gratefully received as the user is keen to be able to email her Hotmail contacts. I can post the message headers if required.

Hello, I have the error 30125-1011 (12002) when I try to install office 365.
I've tried few things such as:

Why is MS not addressing the sluggishness of outlook??????
I upgraded to premium in hopes that the cumbersome advertisements were the sole problem with my outlook account's performance. Unfortunately, I'm now paying for this horribly slow service and seeing absolutely NO improvement. As a matter of fact, apparently there was an update this week which has exacerbated the problem.
Opening site, receiving, opening and sending a message are so time-consuming that I'm using gmail more lately and in search of another provider as well. I see that I am not the only person with this problem and I also see that the issue has not been resolved, or even properly answered.
Before you respond with the usual over-used questions, answers or suggestions - I have;
1.checked internet speed
2. applied all updates
3. emptied all mailboxes of the few emails I had retained
4. anything else I could think of and that I've seen on this site
Any ideas???? This is ridiculous.

windows 10 froze and wouldn't restart
Was on MSN. Froze up. No cursor. Tried to do a Restart using my touch screen. It buffered for maybe 10 minutes. So I powered it off. Powered back up and it took many minutes to finally het nack to the desktop.
i ran Avast, CCleaner, and Malwarebytes and no issues.
can you tell me why it froze up?
and why it wouldnt Restart quicker?
Shutting it off is worrisome.

I have been signed up for Skype subscription for Call to Japan 300 minutes with Office 365. I have been using both without problem. Today I got an email said my subscription to Office 365 is expired. I have not cancelled Skype subscription. And I can't
find my account for Office 365 subscription either. I tried to find answer everywhere, but I am going round and round without answer. Did they changed the rule for Skype and Office deal? I am confused. I still can sign in to Office products, but it is
very important time for me using Office protects and don't want suddenly unable to use them. How can I find my subscription for Office and find out expiration date if there is an expiration date?

One Drive for Mac auto-downloading content
Hi,
I use Onedrive and recently opened the Onedrive folder on my Mac - it downloaded all content onto my Mac which has taken up a lot of space. I dont want to delete the content from Onedrive but I do want to remove it from my Mac. Any way of doing this?

Is it a virus?
We are worried that ransomware is on his computer after we used the Microsoft Security Essentials to scan the computer and it found 2 Trojan Horses that we removed but we are worried that it was a bad site now and that it installed the bad things. Is it a fake site that does not protect Windows 7? What should we do? How can we tell if it did install ransomware?
