Hello,

My Windows 10 did an update over the weekend. However, ever since then the Skype application has ceased working properly. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Skype with no success. This is not the free version but a paid version. Anyone else having this issue and found a work around? Thanks!

Hola, me ha ocurrido que esperando a tener una conversación y con mi interlocutor en estado "ausente" después de un tiempo ha aparecido como "conectado". Le he escrito creyendo que estaría conectado. No me ha respondido. Me he puesto en contacto con él y me ha dicho que no se había conectado. Es un fallo de funcionamiento de Skype?. Le ha ocurrido a alguien esto?.

I am trying to make a 3D map with two sets of data. I want to compare these sets of data, but when I make a map it makes the size of the Heat Map for a specific state relative to the other data points in the same set, not the data point from the other set of data. Is there a way to compare two sets of data?

Hi,

I have been having this problem now for about 8 months and after trawling the internet for a solution I haven't found anything useful. 

Often when I am playing a game, the computer will just immediately shutdown and restart as if I had held the power button down... Itonly happens when I am playing a game. The crashes are completely random as to when they occur. Some days there will be no crashes, and others I will have many. Prior to 8 months ago, I never had any crashes. I could play games perfectly for prolonged periods of time without a hiccup, however now, when I play the same games I could happily play before for extended periods of time, I get a crash. 

A lot of people have been suggesting it could be temperature. So I monitored my temperatures very closely and my PC never got too hot. 

I have not changed any hardware components in my PC either and my power supply is 750 watt so I easily have enough power. 

The only thing that I have found is in the event viewer.

Every time my computer crashes and a Kernel event ID 41 critical error shows up, there is always the same 6 events which occur.

These are 6, 6, 6, 98, 6 and 6. Every time.

The final event just before the id 41 crash is to do with a driver: File System Filter 'npsvctrig' (10.0, ‎2016‎-‎07‎-‎16T03:28:33.000000000Z) has successfully loaded and registered with Filter Manager.

The second this driver is loaded, the PC crashes. I have looked to see if I can somehow remove this but with no avail.

Please if you have a suggestion as to what I can do, tell me.

Hello all,

After importing a text file as a table, I need to alter the data type of a column.

The data is numbers, but I have a mix where some records for the column are decimal, i.e. 92.45 and some are do not have decimals, i.e 10 .

I've tried to use this method after importing the table:

DoCmd.RunSQL "ALTER TABLE TempTable ALTER COLUMN LENGTH DOUBLE"

Where "TempTable" is the table name and "LENGTH" is the column name.

I've tried  this:

DoCmd.RunSQL "ALTER TABLE TempTable ALTER COLUMN LENGTH DECIMAL (3, 2)"

But I get a syntax error when running.

Thought on the correct or best way/syntax to convert all the data in the "LENGTH" column to a 2 decimal place data type?

Hola, acabo de instalar Windows 10 en mi computador nuevo. En el escritorio hay una carpeta con mi nombre de usuario la cual contiene unos accesos a imágenes, videos, entre otros.  La pregunta que tengo es ¿dónde se almacena o de qué disco viene esa carpeta con mi nombre de usuario??, no se si la pueda borrar o no...

My company is converting to Windows 10.  I am having very serious issues with slowness when opening MS access databases (i.e. 2007) or even moving from one record to the next in a datasheet form.  I did not have these issues in our prior operating system.  Just wondering what may be contributing to the problem and what we might do to best address this.   Windows 10 seems to be opening everything in Access in Access 2016.  Are there system settings we need to enable to ensure compatibility between 2007 and 2016?

I have tried quick repair, online repair and starting in safe mode.  No success.  I have also tried uninstalling updates to Windows installed three days ago.  I was able to uninstall two of the three, but no change in behavior.  Any thoughts?

I live in Spain and pay for a UK Skype number. I have been using the Skype Dual phone 4088 for the last 7 years with no problems, which  is plugged into the wifi router.

For the last week I have not been able to receive calls on the 4088, although they do work on my mobile and laptop. I  bought another 4088, which arrived today and the same problem exists. Any ideas how we can receive calls?

I want to share photos form the Win10 photo app by email. But not with the Win10 Mail app, but with Thunderbird. In settings I have Thunderbird as my standard-mail-client.

BUT it does not show um when sharing photos.

Merhaba iyi günler dilerim, windows 10 yüklü laptobumu 2günlük süre sonunda açtığımda ekran çizgi çizgi ve kare kare olmuştu, masaüstüne giriş yapamıyordum, windows kurtarma ekranı çıkıyordu, bilgisayarı sıfırla seçeneğine tıkladım ve yükleme süreci sonunda, artık mavi ekran (stopcode) hatası veriyor ve laptop yeniden başlatılıyor ve durmaksızın bu tekrarlıyor, güvenli moddan giriş dahi yapamıyorum çünkü F8 vs. hiç işlemiyor, ne yapmam gerekiyor acaba lütfen yardımcı olunuz.

What does it change?
