I have a massive list of errors on the Event Viewer Log particularly but not only under Administrative Events. Errors are categorized under DistributedCOM , AppModel-Runtime and/or WindowsUpdateClient amongst others. Will someone please tell me what
I can do to rectify these. As far as I can tell, these errors first appeared on the Event Viewer Log in October 2015 when my 8.1 machine was upgraded to Windows10 and they are llisted on the log since then. I am very worried about this.

Photos in MS 10
I am having a problem with Photos. When I open it the screen comes up and some photos appear. The "refresh" icon at the upper right is spinning and all other controls will not work. After a few seconds, the app closes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled
from MS Store but the problem continues. I have uninstalled from CC Cleaner. I tried the uninstall from PowerShell using the directions below but I got an error message. Need some help here. Thanks in advance.![]()

The universal Photos app is the default photo or image viewer in Windows 10 operating system. The classic Windows Photo Viewer although has not been removed from Windows 10, the program is disabled by default, and one needs to enable Windows Photo Viewer in order to make it the default photo viewer program in Windows 10.
The new Photos app is not just an image viewer but it also offers basic image editing and optimizing tools as well. It offers you add various effects and filters to your photos. With Photos app, you can crop, rotate, straighten, and retouch your images. The app also allows you remove red eye from images.
If the Windows 10 Photos app is not opening, crashing soon after the launch or displaying an error, you can fix those issues by reinstalling the Photos app. However, like any other default Windows 10 apps, the Photos app can’t be uninstalled via Settings app. In this guide,
Method 1 – uninstall Photos app via PowerShell and then install it
Method 2 – uninstall Photos app using CCleaner and then install the same

Reinstall Photos app in Windows 10 using PowerShellStep 1: Open PowerShell as administrator. To do this, type PowerShell in Start menu or taskbar search box, right-click on the PowerShell entry in the search results, and then click Run as administrator option.
Click Yes button when you see the User Account Control prompt.
Step 2: In the elevated PowerShell, type the following command, and press Enter key to view all installed apps.
Get-AppxPackage –AllUsers
Step 3: Scroll down, locate the entry named Microsoft.Windows.Photos, and copy its PackageFullName to Notepad program.
Tip: To quickly find Photos app entry, right-click on the titlebar of PowerShell, click Edit, click Find, type Photos, and then click Find next button.
To copy PackageFullName, select PackageFullName (refer to the picture below), and then use Ctrl + C hotkey to copy it.
Step 4: Execute the following command to uninstall the Photos app.
remove-AppxPackage PackageFullName

DVD player won't read any DVD's
After an automatic update on 6/17/17 the DVD stopped working. Also I had to rejoin my group to transfer files. Any ideas?

Change of licence key- Windows 10
I have two machines. Both have Windows 10 running and activated. Each has their own product key affixed to the side of the case. They are identically specced, while the software is different between the machines. The only Microsoft activated product on both machines is the OS. Other software etc is either subject to a site licence or is open sourced.
Machine 1 is on its last legs for reasons I won't go into here. The HDD is fine. I want to move everything on machine 1 to machine 2, then retire machine 1. Its Win10 licence will be 'retired'.
My options are:
1. go through the rigmarole of reinstalling everything onto machine 2, upgrading Win10, copying data etc, and at the same time doing a cleanout of unnecessary programs and data. This would be very annoying.
or:
2. move the hdd- either physically or virtually by using disk imaging software- from machine 1 to machine 2, reactivate the Win10 installation by entering the activation codes for machine 2, and retiring the licence for machine 1. The would be very quick and easy.
Obviously option 2 is preferred, and I believe that it still complies with the terms of the licence attached to machine 2.
Can I enter the activation code for machine 2 onto what is really a new hdd in it by Settings > Update & security > Activation > Troubleshooteror some other way? I know I can upgrade my licence that way, but I am still planning how to approach this to minimise downtime.

How can I change the license key of a Windows 7 OEM installation?

we use identical industrial PCs to run in combination with our machines. The PCs have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit OEM installed. Some software has to be installed on this PCs to work (Acrobat, .NET, our own C# project etc.). As we cannot accompany each machine with an administrator to install the software, we would like to make a complete backup of the hard drive and then just install the backup on each new PC. The computers are completely identical, so drivers etc. are no issue, there is only one point that gives me headache: When I install the backup, I copy the Windows license key and I cannot find an easy way to reset the license key to the one that belongs to that computer.
How can I easily reset the license key to its original value on a Windows 7 OEM system? There is no "change license key" Button in the control panel.

Nejde nainstalovat aktualizace: KB 4022715 !
Mám Windows 10, verzi ReFresh.
Tady asi není co popsat, dodat atd. Protože se mi nainstalovali např aktualizace:
KB 4022730, KB 4023834, KB 3203436, KB 3203438, KB 3203484, KB3127894, KB 3191828.
- Ale tato jediná aktualizace: 2017-06 Kumulativní aktualizace pro Windows 10 Version 1607 - NE ! Proč ?

Nefunkční Windows mobile device center po upgradu Windows 10 z verze 1607 na verzi 1703
Zdravím komunitu
Mám problém s průmyslovými zařízeními které jsou postaveny na WIN CE 5.2 a 6.0.
Po posledním updatu mi win 10 odstavil jak komunikační aplikaci (Windows mobile device center), tak i ovladač daného zařízení.
Dle info od výrobce s tím nic dělat nehodlají a je to chyba na straně microsoft :-) KLASIKA.
Prosím tedy o radu, zda někdo neví jak pod poslední verzí win 10 rozeběhnout zařízení typu PDA nebo USB mobile device.
