If I create an appointment on my Windows phone it appears in the PC Windows calendar app and on Outlook.com.

 

If I create an appointment on Outlook.com it appears in the PC Windows calendar app and on my phone.

If I amend an appointment in the PC Windows calendar app that was created on Outlook.com or on my phone it updates Outlook.com and my phone.

The problem is that if I create an appointment in the PC Windows calendar app it does not appear on Outlook.com or on my phone.

This used to work OK, I think that it may have stopped working with a recent update that introduced Family calendar.

I have tried all of the published methods for resolving calendar sync issues and none of them work.

The Windows calendar app shows 3 sections:

Cortana - Reminders

Microsoft account - Calendar <-- this is the one that doesn't sync

Outlook account name - Calendar <--- this one syncs

Can the Microsoft account calendar either sync or be removed?

A calendar that does not sync is of no use.

Can appointments in this calendar be moved or copied to a different calendar?

Issue: Cannot preview 2013 Office Professional documents in the Preview Pane of Windows 10 File Explorer.
I can view pdf's, jpeg's, PNGs, and an assortment of other proprietary/non-proprietary file formats, but not Office files. I could do this in earlier versions of Windows (7/XP) and Office (2007/2010).

Attempted Solution: To verify it wasn't an Office issue, I uninstalled Office and then re-installed with the same issue. I then had an operating system issue, so re-installed Windows 10 and then again re-installed Office. Unfortunately, I still have the same issue.

Note: I am able to launch and use Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, but when I try to click the file once primarily to preview the contents via Preview Pane in File Explorer, I get the following error messages:

Word: Sorry, something went wrong and Word was unable to start. (24)

PowerPoint: There's not enough memory or system resources to start PowerPoint.

Excel: No message - just a red X

I generate many Office documents, presentations, & spreadsheets so the Preview Pane feature is extremely useful to quickly sort through content. At this stage I can't be certain if this is a Windows or Office problem.
Has anyone experienced this issue and figured out a solution...??

I have a large spread sheet where in column B a name may be listed more than once, and there are dates in column H, I am trying to count without having to specify the "name" and as long as the dates are less than 30 days apart, to show the name on a separate sheet in the same workbook. Using showing the name and how many times it appears less than 30 days apart in the date column. 

Please help.

Hola! Tengo un serio problema con la tienda de windows ya que no me permite realizar nunguna descarga ni mucho menos actualizar las aplicaciones básicas de windows; como correo, centros de comentarios, etc. Ya he revisado anteriores preguntas similares a mi problemática y nada lo resuelve; he limpiado el caché de la tienda, ejecutado comandos; reiniciando la computadora y nada lo resuelve... Espero pronta respuesta.

I'm using Office 365 on a Mac.  Emails are being moved directly to the deleted folder once read.  How do I turn that off.  All of the options I've seen online don't seem to work for this version of Outlook

Hello dear Microsoft community,

I'll go straight to my problem. Once Windows 10 was launched, Microsoft wanted to automatically upgrade my windows to 10 for free -which I agreed to. I have been using it for a while; but just recently I had a problem with my computer's hard disk which needed to be changed, and the store which replaced it, had to reinstall windows 10.  Now I have the message "Activate Windows". Cannot I somehow continue using it for free? Or do I have to buy a product key?

I had an issue with the new version of skype... I deleted the program and redownloaded from skype. Then I lost the new version with the Dark U/I. Where can I download the version that came with my windows 10 upgrade for the dark version?

Ich habe neben meinen 2 HDD Festplatten eine SSD als lokalen Datenträger (C) mit Windows 10 drauf. Nun ist die SSD voll und ich möchte eine neue dazu kaufen, welche eine andere sein wird, aber ebenso per SATA angeschlossen wird.

Ich möchte die Festplatte C nicht formatieren und Windows nicht neu aufsetzten.

Mit den genannten Bedingungen fallen Dinge wie Raid 0 schon raus.

Ich bin bei meiner Recherche dann aber auf die Storage Spaces gestoßen. Nun meine Frage:

Kann man dies auch in meinem Fall machen, wenn ich den lokalen Datenträger mit Windows 10 drauf einfach "erweitern" möchte? Oder geht es nicht mit Windows drauf?

Tha latest update erased these Icons (Static IP ) ( Wi-Fi Sence) 
And I'm can't connect to any wi-fi network so far !!

Light one for my sister phone ( isn't updated ) Dark one is mine after the latest update :( !!

No passado dia 14 de junho de 2017 foi descarregada e instalada uma actualização (versão 1607 - compilação do SO 14393.1358). Após esse processo correr, após o reboot do sistema constatei que o anti-virus que estava utilizar ESET Nod32 ficou desactivado pelo sistema, não sendo possível tornar a activá-lo.

Peço ajuda de como ultrapassar esta limitação e tornar a activar o anti-vírus.

I started my Xbox Live account many years ago. I recently finished building my computer and now have a Microsoft account with  different email from the one I used to make the Xbox Live account. I attempt to add my Microsoft account as an alias but it will not let me because it exist as a Microsoft account, which doesn't make sense. Both accounts send emails to the same email address, but have different log-in emails.

There doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason, and doesn't happen every time, but sometimes my laptop will not fully shut down.  The screen goes black but my keyboard remains lit and  I can tell the power is still on.  I have to physically put the button down to shut it off.  When I turn it back on, no error message displays. 

At other times, I get this message upon shutdown or restart that CSPthreadtask Window is running and do I want to restart anyway.  Can't seem to find out what exactly this is.  Very frustrated because just when I think these problems are fixed they rear their ugly heads again and I cannot figure the cause or what I happen to be doing at the time that makes them occur.  Please help.

I have been struggling with deleting a folder from my Desktop. The folder used to contain sub-folders with audio files. I moved the sub-folders to DropBox and am now trying to delete the empty folder. I have looked at a number of solutions and tried them all but my problem seems to be a little different from the rest.

If I right-click on the folder and try to delete:

I select Continue and...:

After selecting try again the problem persists.

So then I right-click on the file and select Properties > Security Tab...at this point I see:

From here, I select Advanced and see:

At first I try to Change the Owner and get the following:

So instead, I try following the Continue prompt and land here (same screen):

I'm just trying to delete this stupid folder because it drives my OCD crazy sitting on my desktop.

I have windows 10. My son was using it and now when I press the "a" button, "This PC" screen pops up. Also when I press "@" button, "Scratchpad" screen pops up. There may be oters that I have not found out about yet but this is very aggravating. How do I stop this?

i have ordered a surface studio today with PayPal payment method. But microsoft has canceled my order. 

So now my cash  is BLOCKED bacons the transaction is suspended by Microsoft in my PayPal account (4100 € !!!).

How can I unlock my money and get it back? 

Ms help desk can't help me :-((

Tentei restaurar o Windows, mas nao foi possível pois apareceram os seguintes erros:

Erro 1 - sihost.exe - aviso do sistema

Erro 2 - "você precisa de um novo aplicativo para abrir ms-get-started"

Erro 3 - C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop não está disponível
