My surface pro 3 has been with me for a few years and this problem has been with it for the same time.

If I leave the tablet shut down / sleep / hibernate, whatever I choose, for a few hours or longer, it won't wake up without a power cord attached. If you connect the power cord, it starts well. 

Rarely it won't start even with a power cord, and then I figured out that the only thing required is unplug the power cord and plug it again, then the surface pro 3 can be started. 

It does has a battery, if it wakes up, you can take away the power cord and use it on battery only.

The button combination never works.

Resetting the battery settings doesn't work.

Updating the software and firmware doesn't help.

Because of this issue, I can not use it for my daily work. Just use it as a leisure time tablet.  Anyone has any clue? Thanks.

I went to turn on my computer and go to Windows 10 (I have the Creators Update). Instead of what I expected, I was greeted with a grey screen. (As shown in the picture.) It's not even going to the login screen. I would like some help with this problem.

Today the icons on the desktop has magnifying glasses on them in the lower left corner.  I have windows 7.  What is this and how can I remove the magnifying glass?

I bought an acer jade primo windows phone around Christmas, and it had been playing up, randomly restarting, and then it powered off without turning back on.

The first time It drained flat over a week and I was able to restart it and to continue using it, but this happened several more times. The last time it happened it would not turn on again. It has been this way for a few weeks and wont power on. The red charge light doesn't turn on when plugged in.

I bought this from the Microsoft store but I cannot figure out how to contact about getting it replaced or repaired.

Who do I contact about this and how can I get it repaired or replaced?

I'm currently on my Desktop pc, using an Asus 21.5 inch monitor. My Resolution is on Recommended (1920 x 1080) My problem is that on the left of my monitor it has cut on some of my screen, is there any way of fixing this? Also the Asus only has a VGA port which i converted to a DVI, I believe.

el office 2013 me marca error en archivo pues me dice en amarillo que esta activado datos por cobrar y en rojo que se esta actulizando y que tardara 15 minutos o mas  pero ya actualice y no sale de ahi

I've been going crazy just about all day with this problem. I've Googled every which way I could possibly Google and no one else seems to have this issue!

My document was fine up until a couple of days ago; I'm wondering if something's corrupted.

I'm using numbered formats for my Heading 1 and Heading 2 styles. Heading 1 has the following settings, which according to every article out there is the way it's supposed to go, and it was the way it always was when it was working just fine:

But this is the result:

The "Part 1" is supposed to be uppercase and bold.

Here's the kicker...Up until a half hour ago I was having issues with Heading 2 doing the screwy thing and Heading 1 being fine. Now that's switched.

I've tried copying and pasting without formatting in a new document, then formatting Heading 1 and 2 from scratch and trying the multi level list thing but it gives me the same problem.

Please help, I'm dying over here. What's causing it and how can I fix it? This document has been a work in progress for a very long time, and it took much effort to get it organized the way it is. I absolutely need the numbering to be the way it is because it's a procedure manual that others rely on, and if I'm telling people to go look and Section so-and-so, it needs to be so-and-so!

Hello, 

My system is a Dell Inspiron N5110, running Windows 7 32-Bit. I am trying to install a program and it is giving me an error at the end saying "Feature Transfer Error" and the Error being "Catastrophic Failure". 

I had previously installed the same program on a Windows XP machine and Windows 10 machine, and I confirmed that it is not the programs fault. 

I have got no idea, what to do about it. I have tried troubleshooting the MSI Installer via CMD, Did CHKDSK as well. Nothing seems to have fixed the issue. Please help me fix this error ASAP.

how to i delete a fax from the windows fax and scan program that is in the out box?  I have highlighted, and double clicked the X at the top of the page, and the status states canceling.  The status have remained the same for 3 hours

Mi problema es que tengo archivos recuperados de l disco duro anterior dañado y una vez actualizado a  uno nuevo con el sistema Windows 7 no me reconoce esos archivos tanto de Excel como de Word. Como debo tratar esos archivos? los pierdo? o hay una forma de se puedan leer.

Tengo una duda, alguien sabe como cambiar el color de la barra de busqueda de Cortana?, recientemente encendi mi PC y cortana cambio de color azul transparente a color blanco, y me resulta un poco molesto.

Alguien ayúdeme porfa!!! :p

Hejsan har precis sålt min dator, jag hade windows 10 på datorn med massor av spel och filer. Jag nollställde datorn till fabriks inställningar och sparade inga filer. Allt gick som det ska och datorn var nollställd. Jag stängde av datorn och köparen kom och köpte den. När han startade upp datorn kom det upp att man skulle fylla i land, region, språk etc etc.

Efter det kom han till nästa sida. Där stod det, "komma igång snabbt" på engelska "get going fast", långt ner till höger stod det då använd standard inställningarna, vilket han ville göra så han trycker på den, då kommer det upp "windows 10 verisionen" för "ett ögonblick" med en ladd symbol under, sedan stängs datorn av någon anledning. Han startar då upp datorn igen och då kommer han tillbaka till där man skriver in språk och land etc. Han gör denna process om och om igen och det står hela tiden ett ögonblick, sen stänger den av sig och han får sedan börja om. 

Någon som vet vad felet kan vara?

eller är det jag som hade behövt gjort en backup på windows 10?

Jag trodde man skulle komma till en skärm där man loggar in med ett konto sen kommer man in på datorn?

Olá.  Já tentei as ajudas aqui da comunidade, quase todas , e não consigo fazer funcionar  meu Defender.  

Ele mostra este erro quando peço para examinar o PC,  e em seguida ele desativa  o Defender.

Eu coloco novamente para ativar, ele demora muito para ativar novamente, e ativa. Pouco depois ele diz que o PC esta em risco que é para executar o exame. Faço o exame e ocorre tudo novamente.  

Não tenho outro anti virus instalado.

Já executei ele em modo offline.

Já fiz diversas alterações conforme a comunidade passou sobre  o erro, até a data de 12/06/17, e nao adianta, ele sempre apresenta este erro.

Ele atualiza normalmente, mas geralmente inicia desativado. Não é nas configurações, ja verifiquei.

As vezes ele mostra outro codigo de erro = 0x8007139f

Poderiam me ajudar?

My Skype number has stopped working. When anyone calls the number they get the message that the person they are calling is not available. I have tried to contact customer service but cannot find a way to contact them. I get get caught in a circular loop of screens that never ends. Can someone give me exact instructions for contacting customer service? Thanks.
