Power Point 2013 placeholder for recording Icon
I am recording for each slide. when I look at the slide the recording icon is in different places, how can I modify the master to always have the icon placeholder at a locked position

Cannot update to latest version of Windows Mobile 10
Hi guys,
I have yet another problem. This time, I cannot update to the latest, fully functional build of Windows Creators Update for my Lumia 640 (10.0.15063.332) I tried resetting my phone, but it did not work. What else should I do? I do not want to risk going back to Windows Insider.

home page language
I have my homepage setup as yahoo.com in English but when I go into internet explorer it automatically goes to the Spanish version. If I manually type in yahoo.com it still goes to Spanish. The same with MSN. I used to be able to correct this easily but that option is no longer available. How do I fix this to go to English?

text at top of window
With OneNote 2016, at the top of the window I see text like "xyz -OneNote" where "xyz" is usually equal to the first thing I typed on the current tab. This isn't useful at all--I can see which tab I'm one, and I know it's OneNote.
With OneNote (online? windows 10? not sure), I see simply the name of the notebook. This is actually very useful as many of my notebooks have the same tab names or first lines in the tabs.
Is there a way to get OneNote 2016 to behave like the other versions in this regard?

Surface problem
Hello. All of my Microsoft Office programs have stopped working on my Surface tablet (which runs RT). I'm getting the error message that "the operating system is not presently configured to run this application." The only update to the system recently
was an automatic update of Windows. I'm assuming that the Office application is probably corrupted and needs to be reinstalled. However, for the life of me, I can't find anywhere in Microsoft world where one can download Office for RT. Any help would be most
appreciated.

charged twice for 365
I have been charged twice for my Office 365 Personal:
4/6/2017 I was charged $76.99
5/2/2017 I was charged $76.99
I researched further and found I had been charged twice last year as well:
4/5/2016 I was charged $76.64
5/2/2016 I was charged $76.64
This is quite the racket Microsoft has going on.
Where is a phone number for me to speak with a human?
The dropdown below does not even have the option of choosing Office 365 Personal.

Laptop Internal Speakers Sound Tinny
I have an HP Envy laptop. I had no issues with my internal speakers, until I upgraded to windows 10. They sound like a tin can now. I have tried a multitude of fixes and nothing has made a difference. The driver description is "High Def Audio Device". I believe these are a Microsoft internal bus speaker. Under Device Manager there are two High def audio devices listed and one of them has a yellow exclamation next to it, that will not go away.
I have updated the driver
Uninstalled & re-installed the driver
Ran the microsoft "Mr. Fix It" - problem couldn't be fixed
Ran the troubleshooter - said device driver is not working properly, so I re-installed driver again.
Ran troubleshooter a second time - this time is says device is working properly. But it actually isn't.
Under speaker properties - I disabled all enhancements
Any other ideas I would greatly appreciate. Thank You!!
PS - as KY replied below. My issue also started after the last MS update.

USB port not working
Hi guys
A few months ago I bought HP Notebook 15 - ba004ax with Windows 10 Enterprise 64 bit running, everything was fine and USB prot both still working (this laptop has 1 USB 3.0 port and 2 USB 2.0 port). Recently I updated the Windows to 1607 version and the update run smoothly without any problem. But when I want to use my flash drive with the USB 2.0 port, it doesn't work (both of USB 2.0 port doesn't work). But when I'm trying to use the flash drive with the USB 3.0 port, it work. THe problem came up too when I want to use my wireless mouse, doesn't work at both USB 2.0 port but working at USB 3.0 port.

double columns ending midway down page

Please have a look at this screen shot of my document:

As you can see, I have double columns. And on page two the columns end a little passed the midpoint of the page. There's a bunch of extra space that I would like it to fill up but I don't know how.
I got it into this state by going through the following article:

That is to say, I'm switching between one column (for the Chapter title) and then two columns (for the body of each chapter). Page 3 (not shown) begins with "Chapter 2" in a single column.
The instructions in the article tell me to put a continuous break where the body of the chapter ends, and then set the section after the break to single column. So I do that but it seems to have set the bottom for BOTH columns to be the same. I don't mind the second column ending half way down the page (that's just where it ends) but I'd like the column before that to continue down the page until it reaches the bottom margin.
Is there any way to tell Word to stretch the second last column to the bottom of the page (where the bottom margin begins)?

Outlook.com - Cerrar hotmail celular robado
Hola lo que ocurre es que me robaron el celular la noche de hoy hay información de facturas y demás con mi dirección .
Lo otro que para recuperar mi información de la cta, solo podía recupera enviado código de seguridad a mi celular pero al ser robado no tenia forma de recibirlo!!! para cambiar la contraseña (lo modifique poniendo otro correo de gmail! pero demora hasta mañana) ayuda temo que roben información de mis ctas economicas y direcciones a personas.

ちなみにこの現象が起きるのは個人所有のsurfacebookのみです。会社支給のノートPCも社内用デスクトップPC（いづでもDell）では一切このような現象が発生しません。
何かIMEの設定等を間違えているのでしょうか。

Windows 10 upgrade
The recent upgrade for windows 10 has created all kinds of problems. I'm missing things, some things have changed, dome games are crashing. Anyone else having these problems? Can I uninstall this upgrade?

When I open microsoft edge the same page opens which blocks me from doing anything
I clicked on a page that looked interesting about an Australian homeless man who won some money which he used to do something special for his 5 year old daughter. As I scrolled down the page a pop-up asked me if I was sure if I wanted to leave the page or not.
I didn't even try to leave the page so I became suspicious and shut down the page by using the task manager. Then I clicked on microsoft edge thinking I this should be a re-boot but the same page was still there. Shut down again with task manager the re-booted my computer thinking that this would clear the problem. After re-boot I again click on the e symbol on the task bar but the same page was still there. I need edge to enter my onedrive as my computer says my setting will not accept cookies but all browsers are set to accept all cookies but this is a different problem and a lot of people have complained about the same issue with no fix offered but I can live with just using edge. I run the diagnostic on windows defender but nothing was found.
My question: Is there a workaround concerning this malware?

Windows XP Pro Reset
I have a Dell Latitude CPi laptop, and want to reset it without using any disk or usb. The Admin has a password and the other user have a password with the hint "number4". I want a way to get to command prompt or simply bypass the login screen without any software. I also don't know how to boot through a usb. Any alternative usb names for bios?
Does taking the CMOS wipe out the login password or just the bios?
I already know how to use the booting a software method. Getting to command promt is good to know. Thanks.

Добрый день!
При открытии Word всплывает сообщение об ошибке (файл 01).
Нажимаю "Да", программа не находит решение проблемы и закрывается (файл 02)
Нажимаю "Нет" происходит тоже самое.
То есть работать в Word не возможно.
Как решить эту проблему?

win10系统升级1703版本后出现的问题
问题描述：
经过推送更新升级安装了1703版本的win10系统，升级后系统启动速度有明显提升，问题在使用系统的过程当中，进入系统后显示占用率为13%-15%，使用半天时间后占用率大概能到50%-60%，出现卡顿情况，直到最后能占用到100%，内存是3*8G，而且系统盘之前是有近20G的空闲空间，一天下来之后只剩7G不到，重启不能恢复空间除非清除。
以上问题是在更新之前没有出现过的，这次更新解决了我电脑启动上的一些问题，而且电脑上有很多重要的软件并不能作为硬盘版使用，如果可以的话希望不要重装系统和回滚系统

Reverted back to previous version of Windows 10... Now laptop won't show sign up screen
After reverting back to the previous version of windows 10 (due to problems with apps and such) My laptop showed a black screen for a few mintues then a message saying how it was reverting then a black loading screen - the loading screen stayed for about two hours. I let it load overnight and I woke up to a blank screen - clicked it and everything. tried to unplug my laptop, nothing. tried restarting it, nothing. tried taking the battery out and restarting, nothing, tried clicking the screen, NOTHING. I even tried to launch it in safemode but it wont go to the lockscreen or the sign in screen its just the windows logo then a loading screen for a few minutes then a black loading screen that lasts for hours (and doesn't go away) I have very important files on my laptop
Anyone that can help?
