I have installed WMDC but it does not recognize my mobile device ("Not Connected"). I installed it using drvupdate-amd64_exe. The only thing I noticed is that there are only two options for Connections: COM3 and Bluetooth. On my original PC I used COM1.
Any ideas for troubleshooting?

I can't sign in to my Skype for Business account - I have no issues accessing Office365, Outlook, or any other apps using the same login credentials. However, when I try to login to Skype for Business, it gets stuck saying "Contacting server and signing in..." and hasn't changed for the last hour. I've tried signing out and deleting my log in info, I've restarted my machine and tried to access the Skype for Business app through the Office 365 online site, but login continues to be unsuccessful.

J'ai pris un forfait la poste mobile et lorsque le prends les paramètres par défaut je me retrouve sur un sous réseau wap tout pourri.
si j’accepte l'IPV6 je ne peux plus surfer Internet...
Que faire ?

I develop apps for office and have done so for many years.
I have recently started using 365 as my customers are also using it now, but sometimes, we have to run our apps offline (they are run in remote locations without internet connections). This is never for longer than a day or two so we should have no problem using 365 with it's requirement for a connection every 30 days.
But that nasty little warning is shown, even if a subscription was verified 5 minutes earlier, as soon as the pc goes offline, we get the warning. If we re-launch an off app, we get the warning again.
Why is the warning not shown say after 23 days or something. This is just acting like an offline indicator.
Please can someone alter this nasty behaviour
After last update few days ago, the performance are getting down.
few processes running, the memory is over 75% and disk at start up is 100% for over 5 minutes .
any suggestion available

I have mini air pad2 with Skype. It's home screen is different than my laptop. It shows NO too setting so I can designate a certain language translation. Where is this located.
Upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 Home. Deleted windows.old file and now I'm getting the message: "Windows Defender encountered an error: 0x8050800d. Some history items could not be displayed. Please wait a few minutes and try again. If that doesn't work, clear the history and then try again" I've been reading for days, it seems, the various "fixes" and nothing works. The one thing that seems to differentiate my situation from others is that I had just deleted the windows.old file. Perhaps Defender was using some of those old files to operate properly. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you very much in advance for your time. I've tried the services fixes.

But Separately these formulas calculate:

I have made new account in my laptop. When I enter the password it says:"Preparing your desktop..." so then I wait. In a few minutes theres literally a black screen. On the left top is a small message which says:" Personalized Settings. Setting up personalized settings for Web Platform Customizations."
Am I supposed to this out or is there something I have to do?

We are currently trying to find out more information about HyperV with deduplication. The information we found so far that appears the most recent from Microsoft under this article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/storage/data-deduplication/install-enable
Workloads advertised by Microsoft as recommended does not include using deduplication with HyperV running regular virtual machines but rather running Virtual desktop infrastructure.
It appears from all articles we have read on internet that most people have tried deduplication on regular virtual machines in a LAB environment but not in production.
We wanted to find out if scenario we are looking for which is using deduplication with HyperV (2016) (standalone or cluster) with regular virtual machine (Not VDI) is supported by Microsoft or not and if yes is there an article that speaks to that directly.
As you will find in URL I posted above under "Install and enable Data deduplication" the choices for configuration are 3 only that do not specify use for a HyperV with regular virtual machines.
General purpose file server
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure(VDI) server
Virtualized Backup Server
Appreciate any response if you happen to have a recent link from Microsoft or any 3rd party that may address our scenario here or a feedback if you have had experience in such scenario.

I have not seen anyone address the "Master" feature in Word 2016. Documents I've created with content in the "Master" view in Word 2011 are not accessible in 2016. How, in 2016 can I access what I have created in "Master" view.
I set my son up via my hotmail account and he has his own gamer-tag etc.
I've since set up a child account for him, but I'm assuming everything won't transfer?
He is able to buy anything as I can't seem to get the payment option off (though he does always ask....) and I want to limit his screen time tool.
I'm new to the Xbox One Live - so any help in laymans terms would be great!!
