I have added an email address as an alias in my outlook.com account. Email forwarding has been set up so I receive emails to this address in my outlook.com account. The alias is verified (proved I own the email address) and thus should be able to send from
it.
Yet when a recipient receives mail, it has the sender address as:
*** Email address is removed for privacy *** on behalf of *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
When sending from this alias, is there a simple way I am able to remove the on the behalf of and just show my alias email address?
Since I set this up as a privacy feature so recipients don't get the first email.... this breaks this scenario. Can you remove this? "On behalf of" is not likely to be the reason for your users to use an alias... on behalf of accounts are a separate feature
IMO and others who have complained about the same issue. Note that I actually have several of these aliases and want to switch from accounts as often as I desire.
