I could remove Skype from my task bar and completely get Skype off line and not using any data. Can't do that now. May be since update? use Windows 7

Audio in Skype Meeting
When I click on to "Join Skype Meeting" from an email invitation - how do I get the audio to work? I have never been able to figure out why I can't hear or talk on the meetings. Is there a step in the process after clicking the "Join" link that I am missing? I have my earphones plugged in, but I can never hear anyone.

Surface Pro3 RearCam wird nicht erkannt
Hallo Community,
leider geht bei meinem Surface Pro3 die RearCam nicht mehr.
Im Geräte-Manager unter Bildverarbeitungsgeräte wird auch nur die LifeCam Front angezeigt.
Suche nach neuer Hardware bringt auch nichts.
Windows 10 mit aktuellsten updates ist installiert.

Changing all storage and volume services, and volume shadow copy from manual to automatic for external hard drive (what does this mean???)
So I need to back up some files on a Toshiba external hard drive that's a couple years old. It worked fine on my old Windows 7 machine but on my Windows 10 laptop it's not showing up in the file explorer but it is displayed in the device manager. It says the drivers are updated, I even uninstalled, restarted and reinstalled them.
What I think the solution is is what this user had said worked for them:

The answer was that the services needed for these disks had been switched to Manual and not started.
I don't know which were the important ones or if they al were as I changed al of these services to Automatic:-
All Storage services
All Volume services
Volume Shadow Copy

I ran a diagnostic and it said something similar was the issue. Now I have no idea what this could possibly mean and googling these words tells me nothing about how to go about doing this. I need to get this working pretty urgently, if anyone could help me out that would be fantastic, thanks.

удаление приложения и удаление настроек из настроек VPN в телефоне не помогли,периодически клинит и приходится вынимать батарею,после этого он перескакивает каждый раз на одно и то же время и дату! какое-то время вроде работает.а потом опять перестаёт
срабатывать кнопка вкл.выкл.блокировку и прочие сбои в работе разных приложений,что можно с этим сделать? OS Win 8.1

Can't log in to Microsoft account on Xbox One
I was recently asked to change my Microsoft password, due to possible breach of my account.
I changed my password, enabled two step verification to my mobile phone, and added the Authenticator App to my phone.
Is this why the password isn't recognised on Xbox One now, and what do I have to do to sort the problem?
Does the Two Step verification / Authenticator apply to the Xbox, and if so how does it work?
Please help, three children in distress here!!

India Subscription call issue
I have a 2500 minutes to India call subscription. from last two months call quality is poor even I can't use single minutes this month and Skype is charging me for this Un used minutes which is a technical issues. After lot's of 1 � feedback there is

Suspicious phonecalls
I get phonecalls where the caller says he is from Microsoft and my computer is sending out over 300 security alerts every day . Most of the time I just hang up but on one occasion I asked him what my e-mail address was and he could not tell me . I am pretty
sure that Microsoft know my e-mail and would probably use it to contact me . Any thoughts on this please .

problem with sound card

i have one problem with my pc, i update my windows on win10 and wen finish i dont have sound i check everything all is good but windows he cant see my sound card, my motherboard is Maximus II Formula and soun card isSupremeFX II
i check on Asus for drivers but i find only for win 8, what can i do now for i fix ? pleaze if you can hellp me

moving iles to new location in one drive.
previously I saved as pdf, files created in a program. those file were saved using acrobat reader DC. those files now reside in my one drive - personal. Question, can those files be move to a new and separate folder within one drive?

Viewing pics and photos
Almost all my pics are .PNG or .JPG.
Neither files will open automatically on Windows 10. I CAN open them if I click on Open With and use Paint or Irfan view. But not only is that very time consuming, the pics appear as their actual size. So I have to manually reduce the size of the bigger files to see the whole pic. Even more time-consuming.
Is there a simple program that will simply open all pics and photos in one normal size window at the same size? Past Windows used to open all pics in one regular sized window and allow you to reduce or increase the size to zoom in or out. Simple.
I've tried setting Photos as Default App and that has no effect (and I'm not even sure it is the solution I seek).
Any suggestions, please?

Skype won't let me type after viewing presentation going full screen then normal
I've hit an issue and my corporate help desk is stumped. Hoping someone has a clue.
We are on Skype for Business
Steps to recreate (and it is entirely consistent and another user was able to recreate.
- Log into Skype for Business.
- Start a conversation.
- Have the OTHER party share their desktop.
- Screen will continue to display the IM conversation panel on the left side and their screen on the right.
- Type in the conversation - it works as expected.
- Click the icon to view the presentation full screen. (icon is diagonal arrows pointing away from center)
- The conversation disappears and their desktop appears full screen.
- Click the icon to go back to normal view (icon is diagonal arrows pointing toward center)
- The conversation panel redisplays.
- Type in the conversation panel - the keyboard doesn't work - i.e. type characters and they are not recorded in the conversation panel.
Where this becomes a PITA is when they are sharing without a phone call and you need to see the presentation full screen and then need to go back to normal view so you can ask a question or answer a question that they've posted in the conversation. I ended up having to start a Skype call which would not be appropriate if there are multiple people watching the presentation.

Page Numbers NOT displaying for Powerpoint for MAC 2016
I have the latest version of powerpoint for Mac, I've used the default box for page numbers on the master slide, but the page numbers are not showing on the slides when I create them? Any clues here? I've followed the instructions on several of the forums... but no luck!

Mucho retardo en instalar idiomas en Windows 10
Hola, saludos a todos.
Mi problema es el siguiente, me regalaron una notebook HP 15-ay138cl, Corei7, 7ma. Gen., 16GB, 1TB, Video AMD Radeon de 4GB, con Windows 10 1607 OS build 14393.
El windows viene en ingles, y ya que tengo experiencia en agregar paquetes de idiomas a equipos, intente instalar el mismo paquete que he instalado en otras muchas notebook de la misma compilación.
Ahora, intentado instalar el paquete desde un USB o desde Update de windows, tarda mucho la instalación, no así la bajada del archivo ya que solo pesa unos 40MB. La tardanza es de aproximadamente 2 horas y queda detenido en la mitad la barra de progreso y luego hace un salto y dice instalación correcta.
Perdón por lo extenso pero necesitaba detallar todo, ahora, a que se puede deber tal retraso en la instalación del idioma cuando que en otras maquinas incluyendo las HP con la misma compilación 1607 OS Build 14393, no tardan las 2 horas que me tardo esta maquina?
Agradezco de antemano la atención, esperando una respuesta y solución a mi problema.
PD: Entiendo que al cabo de 2 horas, se instalo al fin el idioma, pero quisiera saber si alguien tuvo el mismo problema y lo pudo solucionar, Gracias

No Restore Option on Lumia 640XL Reset
This is the last attempt I will make on this board to get an answer that actually helps me. I have posted at least a dozen times and never once received a reply (that in and of itself is a miracle) that was of any use at whatsoever.
So here goes: I have a 640XL that I would like to restore from a Windows 10 backup that I already have. It appears that the only way to do it is to do a hard reset. Then when reconfiguring the phone, you're I understand you're supposed to get a restore option.
I have reset the phone a half dozen times and I never get the option to restore from backup. Never.
What should I do?
