Machine is a new Dell XPS with 32 GB RAM, i7-6770 Processor, 2 TB WD Hard drive, WD Black 256 GB SSD. Also using a Drobo 5N2 Storage Device with 14 TB total storage available and only 3.5 TB used. Drobo also has a 128 GB mSATA accelerator card installed. Transferring
files from Hard Drive to Drobo and from 2 external Drives (My Book 2TB and My Passport 2TB) to the Drobo. On a new reboot, transfer rate is between 112 m/s and 123 m/s. Sometimes during the transfer the rate drops to 11.4 m/s and then other times it runs at
full speed to completion. Sometimes after a couple of large transfers (maybe 2100 files) the next transfer starts at 11.4 m/s and never gets better. Think about moving thousands of files from years of backups and photo libraries from as far back as the 1980s
at 11.4 m/s. Something is wrong. Looking further, the Task manager reports the CPU usage is around 45% and Windows Explorer is using from 4555 MB to 7918.8 MB of memory. That's even when no files are being transferred. Sometimes I get a Low memory error and
sometimes not. Just depends on the wind I guess. I have read about other people having similar problems, but nothing specific was recommend to fix this waste of machine resources. Please help. Something is wrong with Windows 10 memory management.

Unresponsive Computer Windows 10
When I turn on my computer, I can log in and it lets me log in. Once my desktop comes up, my tool/task bar is empty and completely unresponsive, no wifif or battery symbol, no browers, and my start button wont't open. When I hover my mouse over it, it's
a spinning blue circle. The shortcuts on my desktop won't/barely load but when I click on them nothing happens. While I wait for it to do something, I'll get a pop-up saying "Microsoft Windows, The application is not responding, End process or cancel." Ending
the process results in a black screen, cancelling it results in a while cover on my screen. Even in Safe Mode it was doing this. I have Windows 10 and a Dell Computer

How to edit screen clippings in OneNote
I often take screen clippings and then enhance them with arrows, highlights, comments etc. before using them in my Emails to either ask questions or answer questions. I used other software for this in the past. With OneNote, I can take screen clippings, and write on them as well but when I copy and paste them in the email, only the original picture shows up and not my writing. How can I save my edits with the picture?

Tengo Windows 10 pro 1511 compilacion 10586.164
Desde octubre de 2016 no puedo actualizar el sistema operativo.
Se queda buscando actualizaciones durante cerca de 20 minutos y siempre termina con el error 0x800705b4
He intentado varias acciones:
- Script de reseteo de Windows update que se muestra en: https://answers.microsoft.com/es-es/windows/forum/windows_10-update/error-800705b4-de-windows-update-en-windows-10/25b40b83-b5d7-408b-b35e-3e9d005f7922
- Ejecutar el fichero reset_reregister_windows_update_components.bat
- Ejecutar el solucionador de problemas de Windows update de Microsoft
- Borrar manualmente C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution
- Desinstalar antivirus
- Actualizar Windows Defender
- Desactivar los antivirus y Windows Defender
Ninguno de estas acciones han solucionado el problema
El ordenador es un Core i5 con 4GB y SSD con 40 Gb de espacio libre.
¿Hay a estas alturas algún método para solucionar los problemas de actualización de Windows 10?

Windows 10 Creator - Windows Defender only cloud based now?
I was prompted to install Windows 10 Creator last night.
This morning, my Windows Defender taskbar icon is showing a small yellow triangle with exclamation point in it. It says it's at risk because I have cloud based protection turned off.
Is there any way to run Windows Defender in Windows 10 Creator without using the Cloud so I can stop seeing this warning icon?
Is the only way to remove the warning sign is to use the cloud?
I do not use the cloud and hope to never have to. I don't want my personal information in "the cloud" because one day it will get hacked and I don't want everything out there for hackers to find.

Hi - I've been getting nuisance emails to my old hotmail account and so have set up a new outlook account and forwarded the emails and folders fm the old hotmail account that I want to keep to the new outlook account.
Can I now delete the old hotmail account without fear of losing the transferred data?

Change Whole Numbered List Levels for Multi-Level List
Is there a way to change the numbering levels of a whole list up (or down) one level?
I have complex instructions set up as a multi-level list (1, a, i, repeat). I am separating out some parts of the instructions into separate lists to make them easier to follow. What was previously number 10 is now it's own list. I need to change the list level of every line up one level (a becomes 1, i becomes a, etc).
Is there a way to do this globally instead of line by line?

Several folders not showing the most recent messages in Outlook 2016.
My 'Sent mail' folder only shows items earlier than two weeks ago,
and another personal folder only shows items from last week and earlier; messages do exist as I can find them with a search.
The behavior is the same if I have the 'groups' settings on or off.
If I check my Gmail I can see the missing messages there.

Fenêtre son qui s'affiche à chaque allumage/connexion de l'écran externe connecté en HDMI
Bonjour,
je rencontre un comportement que je n'explique pas, à savoir cette fenêtre, nommée : « Son », provenant normalement de l’action du clic droit sur l’icône du haut-parleur puis du clic gauche sur « Périphériques de lecture », qui s’affiche à chaque allumage de mon écran externe, à chaque démarrage de l’ordinateur lorsque l’écran externe est allumé, à chaque connexion de l’écran externe.
J’utilise Windows 10 sur un PC portable auquel je branche un écran externe en HDMI. L’écran possède une paire d’enceintes.
Auriez-vous une idée ?
