Skype freezes screen when messaging

At random times, when chatting in the messenger in skype my screen would freeze to black, some keyboard inputs still get registered, some don't. Sound and connection still continue without any problem and as far as I know this issue has never occurred in a skype call. 

However, this is very irritating since at times it would happen more often, and worst of all all monitors go black. I am not sure if it is a driver issue, or a skype issue. I have done a factory reset for my pc, re updated all my drivers. And the problem did not show for a while. But since shortly it has re occurred on it's regular basis.

Note that this happens quite frequently on skype, and only sometimes on skype preview. 

The other problem that skype preview has is that I am never able to hear anyone in a skype call. For that I have to switch to the full version of skype for some odd reason. All the settings are the same, actually i never changed anything really. Only the shortcuts, which i never touch in the chat. To be more specific the shortcuts I changed are for calls only, so 'm positive that does not affect the chat, and is not the issue.

Please, if anyone knows what's up with skype acting up, or has the same problem. let me know.

I can give pc specs and driver versions if this helps. I use Windows 10 and downloaded skype from their website, and skype preview from the windows store.

Olá... 

Como viram pelo título é isso mesmo que acontece, o launcher abre normal, o erro é mesmo quando eu inicio o jogo, ele á uns minutos funcionava perfeitamente, porém eu instalei o GTA V, e dava um erro "0xc000007b" e eu pesquisei na internet (youtube) como solucionar, eu consegui mesmo solucionar o erro, porém desde que fiz isso, o jogo diz que tem erro no app, acabei de desisntalar o jogo, e neste momento estou a transferi-lo denovo da Steam, para saberem como eu corrigi o erro 0xc000007b podem clicar neste link:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLOzUdzTVAI

Bom é que eu baixei e instalei um jogo (DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2) só que quando vou executar ele não abre só diz "Shader model 5.0 higher graphics card is required".Já atualizei o driver do adaptador de video só que não abriu o jogo o que eu faço?

I am trying to figure out how to make my bookmarks appear on a full page -- instead of just a column on the right.  I have a lot of bookmark sorting to do and organization, and the column is too confining to do this.  Is there a way to make the bookmarks appear on a full web page?  Thank you.

I have installed Widows 8 and Outlook 2010. I can send text only emails and receive and read emails with attachments. If I attach even a small attachment of 500 KB, word or PDF, the email sits in the outbox and will not go. Error message refers to 0x800CCC0F. I have also tried using webmail but I cannot upload the attachments into the webmail server. The internet provider and Microsoft help desk have not been able to resolve this problem. This has been going on for months so help would be appreciated.

Bonjour,

J'ai eu ce message hier matin en voulant me connecter à Hotmail sur Firefox depuis mon Mac. Même chose au bureau depuis mon PC.

Au bureau, je suis passé sur IE. Sur mon Mac, j'ai fait la manip "about: config" qui a parfaitement fonctionné jusqu'à ce soir mais depuis 1h, le message d'erreur s'affiche à nouveau.

J'ai tenté de me repositionner en mode "true" dans "about: config" mais rien n'y fait.

Que faire?

This just started and yes I have windows 10. I have always been able to download pictures from "I love Alaska" and use as I see fit but now, last couple of weeks when I try and open the download it's telling me I do not have permission and must get it to open.

Anyone else have this situation???????

Hello,

 

Today I tried setting an alarm clock in the dedicated application from Microsoft on my Surface Pro 4.

 

I thought my Surface Pro 4 would automatically wake up from sleep since it uses a "connected standby (S0) mode". But it did not.  And there were no message saying "the alarm will ring only if the computer is awake" as is the case with device that do not support connected standby.

Now I am worry that the connected standby do not work correctly on my device (which could mean a hardward related problem).

 

Therefore my question is : should my SP4 wake up from sleep when my the alarm clock goes off ? If it should, why is it not working on my device ?

 

Please note that my device was in connected standby (S0) and NOT in hibernation mode. I am aware the hibernation mode won't allow the device to wake on its own.

 

I am using Windows 10. Windows Update says my device is up-to-date.

It was the first time I tried to use the Alarm & Clock app on this device.

3 Probleme:

1.

wird mir wiederholt angeboten, obwohl es bereits einmal erfolgreich installiert wurde.

Fehlermeldeung ist: Fehlgeschlagen  Fehlerdetails: Code 8024200D

2.

Unregelmaessig bekomme ich einen "KERNEL DATA INPAGE" Fehler angezeigt. Meistens , wenn ich im Windows Update Menu herumklicke.

Der Rechner haengt sich dann auf.

Windows versucht dann einen Fehlerbericht zu erstellen und versucht neu zu starten. Beim Neustart haengt sich der Rechner dann aber wieder auf.

Nach Ausschalten mit gedruecktem Aus-/Anschaltknopf und wiederholtem Anschalten, startet der Computer aber wieder normal und arbeitet normal.

3.

Windows Defender findet beim detaillierten Suchlauf mehr als 5 infizierte Dateien, sagt dann aber beim abschliessenden Fehlerbericht: keine infizierten Dateien gefunden.

Malwarebytes und Avast Premier finden ebenfalls keine infizierten Dateien.

Lenovo Diagnose Tool findet keine Hardware Probleme. Alles io

Ebenfalls das Windows Diagnose Toll findet keine Hardware Probleme.

Der Geraete Manager zeigt keinerlei Konflikte. Alle Geraete und Treiber funktionieren einwandfrei.

the dialog box "Exceptions for" under Proofing only has the option all documents. How can I turn that off?

I use the voicemail feature regularly on Skype and it is very useful for people to leave me long voice messages.

The limit used to be 10 minutes but as of today it seems to have changed to 2 minutes or even less. Is this a system wide glitch, a problem with my Skype, or has the policy changed?

My Skype for Mac (OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan) just upgraded itself to the latest version and now while I can hear and see the person at the other end can not hear me. I have tried muting and unmuting the microphone and turning off the video.

I seem to have an issue with my One Drive.  When I save files to onedrive from apps such as Word or Excel, they don't appear in my one drive.  On the notifications section, the app isn't signed, but also doesn't allow me to sign in.  I get the following messages

"The Account that you signed in with doesn't match the account that you're syncing.  Please provide the password for "". To add another account, right-click the blue onedrive cloud icon in the notifications area and click settings.  Click the Account Tab, then click add an account"

When I try to do this, it doesn't allow me to, it also says, "You're already syncing a personal onedrive on this computer.  Unlink that account to add a new one".  

Any ideas?

Ho Windows 10 e Acrobat Reader DC 2017.009.20044

Se apro un pdf e vado su un pulsante, il nome file pdf lampeggia e sul puntatore compare l'anello rotante. Poi se, ad es., vado su stampa riesco solo a stampare tutto o pagina corrente e non a selezionare le pagine volute.

Se non chiudo e vado su un'altra applicazione Windows (es. Live Mail), anch'essa lampeggia e sul puntatore mouse rimane l'anello.

Si direbbe una incompatibilità della versione ma ho già disinstallato e ricaricato Acrobat senza miglioramento.

Cosa devo fare?

Hello everyone,

This is going to be a bit long one so please bear with me ... our help desk is stumped and I've been looking online to no end now.  Hopefully, someone can help.

• At work, we were on-prem with our email and we had single sign on.
• In April, we migrated over to O365.  Once that happened:
  • On my desktop:
    • I had to sign in a second time to Outlook.  (I restart my machine every day so that's 2 logins per day unless I shut down and restart Outlook additional times.  It adds up and it's annoying.)  My desktop is Windows 7 Enterprise, SP 1, 64-bit.  Office at that time was Office 2013.
    • Emails arrived in my Inbox, I hear the alert, I see the preview but sometimes I see it in my Inbox and sometimes not.  Hitting Send/Receive does nothing.  I have to browse away from my Inbox then browse back and the new emails arrive.  It's intermittent so I can't reproduce it.  *grrr*
  • On my laptop #1: (this is the exact environment as my desktop - this is my test machine)
    • I only my one login using our single sign on, regardless of how many times I launched Outlook.  My laptop #1 is Windows 7 and Office is 2013.
  • On my laptop #2:
    • I only did my one login using our single sign on, regardless of how many times I launched Outlook.  My laptop #2 is Windows 10 and Office 2016.
    • The "invisible" emails however do occur on my laptop as well.  Again, intermittent.
• In May, I upgraded to Office 2016 on my desktop and changed my domain password.
  • On my desktop, no difference in the issues as described above.
  • On my laptop, now I have the start logging in a second time whenever I launch Outlook.  All other issues described above for the laptop remains.

Solutions attempted (multiple times) include clearing the Credentials Manager, recreating my profile, and creating a new "test" profile in Outlook.  Nothing worked - I still have to log in multiple times and some of my emails still arrive invisible until I browse away and come back.  So ... any ideas?  This has been driving me nuts since the migration to O365 last month.  Any insight/guidance you anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated!  Thanks bunches!!

I need help figuring out how to get the Y axis of my line graph to be:

7, 9, 12, 15, 18, 20, 23, 25, 28

I need them evenly spaced. (20 to 23 is the same distance as 18 to 20) 

On the x axis I'll have 4 numbers to plot. for example:

9, 27, 15, 19

I found out that Alt+Tab works, but much preferred being able to just move mouse.

Oi Murilo.

No meu caso, não existe a aba compatibilidade na janela propriedades. Então fui seguir o caminho alternativo:

Pressione Windows + R e escreva Regedit e pressioneOK.

Agora encontre a chave HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers e apague todas as chaves ao lado e deixe apenas a chave descrita como padrão como na imagem abaixo.

No entanto, este caminho não existe, somente o segui até o HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags, onde existem as pastas abaixo:
