Hello,

I felt very unfortunate while deleting a subfolder of a network share: it was the folder containing that was deleted.

How did that happen ?
The network share is accessible by a letter. Let's say P:
In the navigation pane (left side), under the P: drive, there is a first folder named FOLDERS. Its sub-folders also appear in the navigation pane, because the plus sign (or the "arrow") allowed to unfold the first level of FOLDERS tree.

In the display area, there are the same subfolders, with some files:
folder_1, folder_2, folder_3, file_1, file_2, ...

By clicking (left-click) on FOLDERS in the navigation pane (FOLDERS is highlighted), then
by hovering the file_1 in the display area (file_1 is then highlighted), and then
by calling the context menu (right-click) on file_1 (highlighted),
I clicked on the delete choice

The deletion then covered DOSSIERS and all its contents.

How is it possible ?
I was able to reproduce this problem in the next hour, but today, it did not happen ... I'm very intrigued.
Could it be a system bug? Or does it necessarily require a third party intervention?

I have what I hope is a quick question. I am etting up a database for a relatively simple task, to calculate raw profits from sales and purchasing numbers. At the moment we are using an Excel sheet for that, but the sharing between several people has become problematic, as it is possible that multiple people try to add numbers to the same row, which then leads to conflicts. I hope this can be avoided by using a database instead of a spreadsheet.

My question is simple. In order to calculate a raw profit, I simply want to subtract the purchase price from the sales price. WE have of course the sales price, but the purchase price cnsists of multiple parts. For example, Let's say we sell a gadget for $100. The gadget consists of multiple widgets we buy separately, say 3 widget1s for $15 each, 2 Widget2s for 10 Each, and 1 Widget3 for $20. The prices and numbers of widgets can change from one order to the next. How would I enter that in an access field? In Excel it is easy. You can simply enter "=3*15+2*10+20" in a field and Excel calculates the value. How do I do that in Access? I understand that it would be better to have a "Widget List" and select from there, then let Access calculate the total and use that in a field, but the Widget prices change frequently, and maintaining the Widget List would be too cumbersome. Is there an easy way to do that?

I imaging something like a button that pops up a simple calculator where you can do the calcualtion by hand and the result is then stored in the access field. Does that exist?

how does one access the (e.g.) %programfiles% now from Win 10 ... type that in the search box simply offers one a search of the net???.... If Win 10 is still incapable of completely uninstalling a prog one wishes to remove completely - how do we now access whaat (used to be) the easy solution? Thank you.

Hello

This week I moved two emails from junk to my inbox but they have disappeared

I also tried to find a recent related email in my inbox that i had read.  This has also disappeared

I have tried searching by filters, recovering deleted items, removing auto delete (cannot find this function) and running malware bytes (on mac - no malware found)

I access hotmail via outlook.com webmail and my iphone (account set up months ago to push to iphone)

It may be unrelated but recently an email from an unknown sender appeared in my inbox and instantly disappeared

What do you advise?

I am trying to access a One Note Notebook that is stored on a network drive. The drive is set to map at login and I can see the notebook in the drive, but cannot figure out how to add it?

Hi there - Does anyone know how to make the size of the section where you are typing an IM larger?   I used to be able to resize the window so that I could decrease the conversation and increase where I was typing.  I can only see the top of the person's icon when they are typing as well, so the area is just too small.

Up until the most recent Windows Updates (Windows 10, version 1703 and a Security Update), which occurred on 5/26 and 5/27/17, I've been using facial recognition via Windows Hello to access my PC.  Since those updates, it's been unable to access the camera.  When I use the camera application, it works fine.  

I removed facial recognition from the Sign-in-Options Settings page; but when I attempt to re-install, I get "Sorry, something went wrong - Couldn't turn on the camera.  Make sure it's working properly."

I've read through a large number of similar inquiries; but haven't yet found a solution that works.  Your help is appreciated.

Ich nutze die Outlook-App für mein Samsung Galaxy S6. In dieser App werden ein Teil meiner angelegten Geburtstage doppelt angezeigt. Diese doppelt angezeigten werden zum einen am Tag vor dem tatsächlichen Geburtstag und dann am Tag des Geburtstag angezeigt. Somit gratuliere ich meinen Freuden meistens einen Tag zu früh, da der Geburtstag einen Tag zu früh beginnend angezeigt wird. Wenn ich auf Geburtstagsereignis in der App öffne, zeigt er mir das Ereignis als 2 Tage an. Unter live.com wird alles richtig angezeigt (Termin steht auf Dauer: 1 Tag). Da die Geburtstage aber Ganztäglich in live.com angelegt werden und "Ganztäglich" um 00:00 Uhr bis 00:00 Uhr voreingestellt sind, wird in der App vermutlich die 00:00 Uhr noch als Vortag angezeigt und somit als 2-tägig angezeigt.

Ich hatte die App schon neu installiert. Scheint also kein Fehler zu sein. Meine Freundin mit demS7 Edge hat das selbe Problem

Kann ich diesen Fehler umgehen? Es kann ja nicht Sinn der App sein, dass ein Teil der Geburtstage für zwei Tage im Kalender angezeigt werden. Vorallem weil es nur ein Teil der Geburtstage betrifft. Dabei werden alle Kalender-Geburtstagstermine von meinen gespeicherten Kontakt-Geburtstagstermine übernommen.

Bonjour, j'ai des problèmes avec mon clavier et souris, le pavé à droite ne marche pas ainsi que certains caractères spéciaux (arobase, hashtag ...). Et pour ma souris, à chaque fois que je clique sur une vidéo, un lien cela ouvre une nouvelle page même constat pour la barre de tâches. 

Avez vous eu ce problème ou savez comment le régler ?

Hello folks - I am curious about a problem I have with W10 Mail - it just disappears, occasionally, usually after an action such as deleting a message from an inbox of a registered mail account.  I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar problem.  If someone actually has a FIX for this, that would be icing on the cake, as they say.

Have Win10 Home current and Office Professional Plus, Excel Version 15.0.4927.1002  (installed from disc)

PowerPivot has disappeared from my Excel menu after reporting some kind of strange issue.  This was in responces to my click on "Manage" for an existing data model being used for a Pivot table, Excel hung after some non-helpful dialog messages.

The Add-in manager still shows PowerPivot is among the active add-ins.  I believe the message indicated repair of the add-in was needed (or something similar to that).  Using Windows 10 and I no longer see the easy way to trigger an app repair.

I need to have PowerPivot back and functional!  Need guidance instructions to cause that repair.

Windows 10 upgrade. Pokaždé, když minimalizuji hru mi monitor bezdůvodně hodí vše do modrého filtru (vše je najednou více modré). Pomůže zapnutí a vypnutí nočního osvětlení. Jenže komu se chce pokaždé zapínat a vypínat noční osvětlení. Spíš mě to štve.

I have an android tablet, and today wanted to Skype call someone, but mic didn’t work. Did echo test, updated and still doesn't work. Anyone got any suggestions. I can't think my mic is broken. Thanks.

Is there a solution to this problem yet?  Because it is getting really old.

About once a week, my tablet drivers just stop working.  If I go to open them, it says "Drivers not found".  The shortcuts and all that are still present, but they don't work.  So I have to uninstall them, reboot, download and reinstall new drivers, reboot again, customize all my settings, and then a week later I have to do it again.  It's insane.

Further information:  I use the Wacom Intuos for digital painting in Clip Studio Paint.  I'm a professional artist, and this is eating up precious work hours.  To uninstall, reboot, reinstall, reboot, readjust the tablet settings--that's an hour a week of having to fix this.  So if there is a solution, please lay it on me.

Вопрос почему теперь нельзя скачивать Яндекс из магазина. Общался на форуме Яндекса, они мне только нечего не смогли сказать. Так может вы мне скажете что это такое. Еще пару дней назад я пользовался этим сервисом, а после обновления магазина Яндекс пропал.

Hei har trykt på ett eller annet på telefonen min som har gjort at gamle mailer forsvant etter dato.mailene er ikke slettet men de ligger ikke etter rekkefølge.et vist tidsrom som er borte/flyttet på?Noen som vet hvordan jeg kan endre mailen slik at jeg får alt frem igjen?
